Mediocre...

Acquired to use with my 70-200mm f/4 on an SL, a superb lens on its own, this teleconverter noticeably impacts image quality. Fine details lack acuity, and contrasting edges in details are fuzzy in uncorrected raw files. Contrast takes a hit as well. On the bright side, focus acquisition is fast and accurate on the SL. Judicious post-processing produces usable images. But overall, it's no better than some of the teleconverters made in the '80's and '90's. In 2020 one would expect better. A fine lens like the 70-200mm Lumix S Pro deserves better, especially when the manufacturer promotes the teleconverter as enabling 400mm reach.
