very happy with my i9

I bought this cpu for a chia farming rig. It performs very well. I was surprised that the cpu already had thermal paste applied, and I like that a heat sink and fan were included in the box.

Great Intel processor, with BIOS tweaks. Bad iGPU.

The i9-10900 is a wonderfully versatile card if you tweak your BIOS settings (pro-tip: change the Turbo wattage and duration settings; for extra points change your clock ratio for either cooling periods or non-Turbo power, whatever your cooling will allow). The extra cores can be used to run extra operations or virtual machines with ease. You will never suffer from a lack of available processing power with this card! Just don't bother with the iGPU, it stinks! If you were considering an iGPU I'd recommend a GT-1030 or a Ryzen instead. The only thing this iGPU is good for is a last-ditch backup if something bricks your dGPU (very unlikely) so just go ahead and disable it in BIOS and OS so you don't run into weird conflicts. Intel could definitely improve in this regard.

Intel is 10900, you all know what it is, works as expected. Chose Intel over AMD due to some compatability issues I've head about.
