Fantastic value

Took tripod out for first time and found it easy to set up, simple to balance. The little compass was very handy. The release on the ballhead took a little time to get used to, but I did that at home before I left. Found this Tripod to be very stable for uneven ground, and extends to a full 6'2". I am only 6' so I never needed to run it up all the way, so it remained stable and I felt very comfortable knowing that I could safely put my Nikon D-60 on it. I think it will be a fine tripod when I finally purchase a long lens. I don't see a need to upgrade for a long time coming.
