I was looking for a sturdy tripod for my Nikon D850 and Tamron 150-600 lens. This one certainly delivers confidence when paired with the RRS BH-55 ball head.

So far, love this tripod! The carbon fiber 9x weave legs are very sturdy. I also like that it has foam on all 3 legs since I'm going to be using this for winter photography and that makes legs warmer to handle. Includes some extras that some much more expensive ones don't-- metal spike legs, center hook, 2nd shorter optional center column and nice padded carrying case with shoulder strap and handle. Plus the leg locks are larger than many and easy grasp and twist. I paired it with an RRS 30 ball head. I think it's a great buy.

Great to work with and just impress on how steady and stable it feel and acts. I had my 600mm lens on it and it didn’t disappoint. I would surely recommend and if need purchase this tripod again.

I bought this after seeing and using a friend’s Induro tripod. This is very sturdy and has no problem with my long lenses for bird photography. The legs extend smoothly and easily and lock well when tightened. I love the large locking rings because they are easy for me to operate with my arthritis. This also came with a strap, bag, and a set of spike feet which will be useful. I recommend this tripod to anyone needing a stable platform.

This is a really good and solid daily use tripod and the extra height makes my back and neck very happy. With that said, it does require some occasional cleaning and tightening up of the bolts attaching the legs to keep it working well which is to be expected. You also need to keep an eye on the rubber stoppers on the legs as I have lost one due to it just coming loose and me not noticing.

I waited to write a review for this tripod, even though I've had it for almost 2 years now. I had a Manfrotto CF Pro model as my go-to tripod, but this has become my favorite now. A plus is its extra height, I'm 6'5" and this can extend up to my eye level and above. It's fairly light and I can carry it around all day. It handles my 500mm f/4 lenses as well as 150-600mm f/5.6-6.3 telephoto lens with bodies, ballheads, and gimbals. It opens and closes smoothly with no problem, although the legs need to be tightened occasionally. I have a Pro Media Gear CF tripod too but use this more often. It is big to travel with on airlines and I take it as carry-on.

Outstanding tripod! It is everything it was advertised to be. I actually traded in a lens and was given a very fair offer, and decided to up my tripod game. No regrets.

This is a good solid tripod even when I have it at standing height. Add a solid gimbal head and this thing is awesome for wildlife.

Beautifully made. Just not stable enough. Probably needed the 3 series or 3 section version. Too much flex fully extended.

I drag this tripod over some pretty rough terrain regularly. It is strong and lite. Much better than my Manfrotto of the same price range. You should check the feet regularly, they come loose, maybe a touch of loctite would help. Also you need to make sure the Allen wrench that is supplied with this tripod is handy because about every fifth outing I notice I have to tighten up one or more of the legs at the spider joint or they will start to flop around annoyingly. I’ve compared this to my friend Gitzo and it comes close but is not of equal quality. On the other hand he paid nearly double the price for slightly better quality and a name. Is it perfect, NO. Is it worth the money, YES and when and if I manage to wear this one out I will buy another.

I already had the CLT404 and love it. The CLT303 is the same quality and also just as good only a little lighter weight. I use a Manfrotto Nitrotech N8 video fluid head and makes a great kit for shooting video.

Great quality but would get 5 stars if the legs would stay in place and now the one has fallen out.

For my personal use in the field, it was too light ... but what a great light weight tri-pod for the individual that needs something for hiking. I have since upgraded to a CLT 304L and love it.

Although not as compact as my 3 legged thing, it is close. Quite light, and seems more stable than that tripod. With the ball head off, I was able to fit the tripod in the carry on without difficulty. It is super light and seems pretty stable so far. Haven't tried heavy winds, but looking forward to putting it to the test.

I have 2 Induro tripods and 3 heads. they are rock solid the 303 is a little heavy for CF but i would not hesitate to put any of my gear on it.The phq3 head works great when it arrived one of the levels was dry ,no problem a call to Induro and replacements are on the way.Great customer service. If I should need another tripod I will be another Induro

I have two older Gitzo tripods, a one and a two series, but I was looking for something a little larger and taller, and not overly expensive. This tripod seems perfect. Not to heavy, very sturdy, and plenty tall enough... and the right price!

I would recommend the Stealth CLT304L. It is very sturdy but light. I carried a Gtizo for many years ..... I appreciate the lighter weight, and ease of set up. Nice tripod!

Safety load capacity will handle any of my equipment without fear of dropping. I love the interchangeable feet the included spikes are a plus. Will handle any of the ruff terrain in my Tennessee mountains..very durable carry case. Would I recommend it? In a New York minute, lol...Just buy it already!! you won't be sorry once you get over the sticker shock... I paired it with the arca-swiss Z1 ball head and couldn't be happier... I gave my Manfrotto to my ex wife!, lol

Sturdy, quality construction, very rigid.

This is a sturdy, well connected tripod. I mainly used it for shooting wildlife with a 600mm F 4.0 lens. It is a great price, for the quality!
