Questions & Answers

Shopper : Does the center column cannulate/articulate so that it extends the camera out and parrallel to the ground?JEAN D : Unfortunately is does not. It's still a great tripod.JEFF O : If I understand your question, then no it does not. The center column moves up,and down. Any articulating action would be a function of whichever ball head you choose. This is a great tripod and works very well for me. I got the Induro BHL2 head.SUSANNAH K : The center column reverses so you can have your camera low to the ground but it does not articulate horizontally. It is a wonderful tripod and worth every penny.LAWRENCE F : No.Anand M : No, the center column does not tilt in any way. It only goes up and down.
HUITANG Z : Where is it made in? Thanks!HUITANG Z : Thanks, Henry!HENRY E : My Induro CT324 was made in China. Although its made with carbon fiber the rest is metal and somewhat heavy. Notice the Wt. description. Hope this helps...HenryHUITANG Z : Dear Anand, Thanks for the answer!HUITANG Z : Dear Kenneth, Thank you very much for your answer and the feedback for the tripod. I do need a sturdy tripod for my Nikon D800 and Nikkor 200-400 VR lens. The combination with battery pack is over 10lb. The Manfrotto tripod I have is not strong enough. I am considering to buy this one because it holds about 26lb. I will buy this unit then. Thanks again for your input.KENNETH H : It is made in China, but the quality is quite good, surprisingly. I have used it for years and so far nothing has fallen off or broken. I would recommend it over the more costly Gitzo which I have also used in the past. The Induro is sturdy and light weight and of professional quality.Anand M : It is made in China.ALICE U : I have sand in the joints of my Indiro CT214 tripod from a recent trip. I opened one of the legs to clean out the sand, and I did not do anything for there is some type of lubricant in the screw threads. Therefore, of I clean the whole tripod, what lube do I use on the threads?JEFF O : Like most everything, China.

Great Tripod

This suits my needs perfectly. Lightweight, folds compactly to carry on my pack, sturdy, and extends to a good height. I did purchase the short center column to provide a greater range; I alternate columns depending on need. Material and build quality are very high.

Love this tripod!

Thanks Induro! I've just started to use the CT214, and it is a real pleasure to have. Light and quick to set up. Slides right in and out of the supplied transport case with ball head attached. This is money well spent.
