Worth it - but irritatingly expensive

I've used the Nikon version of the battery covers and the third party versions. The Nikon versions are better. However, I wish Nikon priced them more reasonably. All things considered, it makes more sense to pay a bit more for the Nikon version.

Bl-6 great shipping was a nightmare!

The Nikon Bl-6 is a perfect fit! However shipping was a disaster!! Apparently I was given the same tracking number as another customer. My package was shuffled around for two weeks. Customer service was nice but never followed up as promised.

Good to Have a Backup

I bought this as a backup because the original batter cover seemed somewhat fragile. Like another reviewer, I've found it's convenient to have my second battery mounted for quick installation, especially in the field. Fit and finish are identical to the original part.

Excellent purchase

Great to have on hand if you have more then one battery. Just keep it attached to your second D4 battery and you can slide one out and the other in!
