It was hard to tell in pics that the cover was transparent. Took a few tries to click it on but everything fit. Small price to pay to protect your led as screen for a D810. Robin

Just got my D800 and it’s well used but works great. I wanted to protect the display so I ordered one of these from eBay, waited 10 days to 2 weeks for it to come from Japan and it wouldn’t stay on more than 5 minutes. Would not snap into place. Ordered from Adorama less expensive and snapped it on and have had no problem keeping it in place yet. I like the protection the monitor cover affords. Thanks for the good service. Satisfied!

My monitor cover was chipped on my recent purchase of a used Nikon 810. I searched and found this replacement at Adorama. Easy snap off the old and snap on the new and, voila, like new again.

If you travel or are in rugged environment, this is cheap protection for the LCD screen. For me it's obvious when you see the wear that the cover takes rather than the camera screen. Its easily removable so you can take advantage of the crystal clear lcd if you need to chimp or edit on the fly. I never leave home without it.

Had the original on my 800e for 2 years until the camera rolled over onto another rock and broke. I replaced it, and this works just fine and is dependable.

My friend bumped her D800E as she was putting it back into her camera bag. The corner of the back display hit her other camera. The display was damaged and cost her $175 to fix. So this ($) protector is well worth the cost.

I never go in the field without this on my LCD. I have replaced this cover twice due to gouges on the cover. Without it, my LCD would have been destroyed. It may not seem important until you mess up your LCD and then it's to late. For a small price it will save you a lot of money.

I always have an extra monitor cover available in case the original becomes damaged. It is cheap insurance against damaging the display.
