Must Need Item

Does exactly what i wanted it to do...provides a durable, weather-resistant cover for the flash shoe. My Nikon D500 is weather-resistant, but the standard shoe cover left too much exposed, IMO. This fits well, and securely protects the shoe with a soft rubber cover.

Looks great, fits great, and feels great! Cherry on top of my D850. The whole piece is a much softer rubber than I thought it would be, but it ended up being a pleasant surprise.

Fits D7200 and D850

Perfect protection for the D850’s hot shoe.  The center part is plastic and slides perfectly into the hot shoe.  The outer portion of the cover is rubber and great protection from bumps.

I saw a sales associate with one of these in his camera (at Best Buy) and I liked it. It's a more solid, secure fit than the standard little piece of plastic that comes with the camera body. It also offers a bit more protection (the silver, metal prongs aren't visible) and gives the camera a more streamlined look. Is it worth $ - probably not, but if you've spent thousands on your camera body, it's a small price to pay.

Better than what comes with the camera

This is larger and provides better hot shoe protection than the old BS-1 that Nikon used to include with most cameras. Inside is a plastic foot and attached to that is a soft rubber shell which covers the whole shoe
