Excellent soft case for my D7500 and Nikkor 18-300 lens.

Ok for a cover but no real padding. Has convenient battery pouch for 2nd battery. Fits a 3100 with 18-200VR, so decently long.

Since I just “converted” back to Nikon after a few years with the Olympus System, I wanted a case to keep in my hand luggage when travel. This case is snug and fits perfectly with the D7500 and the 16-80/2.8 with the hood reversed. (Filter and cap on the lens)

Although not described for my new Nikon D7200 with 18-140mm lens , I assumed it would work, and it did. Quality is typical Nikon and the case offers protection when not included in a larger camera bag.

The Nikon D7000 camera it's self is pretty hardy. I would say even more so than the newer versions, but this compact case is very handy way to carry your nice camera around to help keep the body and lens from getting bumped on things and tossed around in your car with junk piled on top. We try to be very careful, but then there is those real life situations and mishaps that will happen. It also helps a bit to keep it cleaner, and as a minor theft protection; as it is not as clearly obvious you have a nice DSLR inside worth taking in a smash-n-grab. You will not be able to use a bottom mount camera strap with this case, so if that is important to you this would not be as usable.

Very similar to my case for my D80 that has served well for 8 years

Is a great soft case to protect your camera. I put it on before I put the camera in my purse.

Well made semi-rigid case. Fits my 7200 just fine even with my 18-250 sigma zoom (with hood reversed, of course) and 2 filters attached to front.

Mfg says it will hold a d7100 with a 18-135mm lens. Well folks it will hold a Tameron 70-300mm lens with a sun shade. It is great.

I bought this case for a light level of protection when traveling or just riding around in the car. There are times when I know I won't need a full camera bag and this serves just the purpose. I may leave the D7000 and 18-105 lens in there, as a grab and go, and free up some space in the main bag.

I have a great camera bag that I am really pleased with but I wanted just a protective cover for those days I didn't want to carry the big bag. I found the perfect soft case with the "Nikon CF-DC3 Semi-Soft Case for D7000 Digital SLR with Lenses up to 18-135mm Zoom". I have the D7000 and a 18-270mm zoom lens and it is a perfect fit. The camera is heavy enough as it is!! To have a small soft case to protect and be light weight is great!! I would like maybe a small pocket on the outside for a spare battery though...

I have used this for storage, travel and transport. It offers great protection for your camera and lenses. It is easy to remove from the camera and folds away easily. It is a good value for the price.

Basic protection is what this case provides. It protects the camera from dust and the elements while I am carrying it in my car or while being stored at home. Also provides protection from minor bumps and hits. On the flip side - because it is so compact, taking the camera out and putting it back in is a little awkward. Also, no room for any kind of extra storage. Remember to leave this case in your car when you get out because, lugging it around whereever you go is a big pain. I only bought it since it came packaged as a deal with my DSLR - otherwise, I don't think it is worth the standalone price.

This is too small if you have attached a battery pack. It also does not have a strap nor any way of attaching a strap. It is thin which may be what you want but it does not supply much protection. I wish I had saved my money.

My D7000 with a Nikon 16-85 mm DX zoom lens fits with just a little extra room in front of lens with filter and lens cap installed. Perfect. A surprise was a little pouch inside on the top. It's just big enough for a few SD cards in their cases or a spare battery. The little pouch's velcro end door flap didn't want to close with the plastic cover installed on the battery, but with it off, the battery fits and the velcro end door flap closes just fine. Tight but fine. The little pouch is positioned just forward enough not to hit the camera body; and the pouch sits high enough to give plenty of clearance for the lens . Very nice. The case fits the camera body like a glove. The best way to get the camera out of the case is to hold the case around the lens area and let gravity slide the camera and lens out into your other hand. The case has a closing strap on one of the slots for the camera strap. You attach it with a snap device. You don't have to use it but with it you can just slide your camera out and start shooting without worrying about where you set the case. It will just slide out of the way and stay on your strap. All in all ... a very well thought out design that provides a perfect fit case, with just the right weather resistance and padding for my camera and "walk-about" lens. A Must have.
