The L22 uses AA batteries thus requiring no battery charger. Actually I prefer the throw away batteries vs. an internal battery that requires a recharge. Seems like they always go dead when you need them most. The AA Lithium batteries are preferred for use in digital camers as they last much, much longer than the regular AA batteries.
There was no memory stick with this camera. My last digital didn't not come with one either. I was lucky in that the memory stick from my old Samsung was compatible.
It does come with a USB cable for downloading pictures to the computer.
This is a neat little camera for the money and the picture quality is great. I really like it for a simple point and shoot small pocket sized camera.

Terrific Photos, EZ to use, Great Value
I use a Nikon D3100 DSLR and Nikon S8100 mega-zoom P&S. I bought the Nikon L22 as a birthday gift for my son. But before his birthday I took the camera along on a couple of trips and was amazed at the great pics it took. The colors are exceptionally rich, especially warm skin tones, reds and yellows. I actually preferred its colors to my $250 Nikon S8100. It's reasonably sharp for a P&S, focuses quickly and accurately and manages excellent exposure. Video is just OK, not hi-def. But overall I found it to be a very nice camera. Highly recommended.

Coolpix...equals quality photographs
I keep a Coolpix in my purse for unexpected photo opportunities that occur in the everyday. One can not always tote around a D300 and this p&s offers a compact solution. I have been so pleased I have purchased additional to offer as gifts.

I have enjoyed using this camera!
I take lots of pictures at Sr. Center activities and Lunches each month with my Telephone operator friends and I always am pleased with the results!

GREAT CAMERA[...]
Have purchased several NIKON L20 (4or5)refurbished cameras until Adorama ran out them I then purchased several NIKON L22 cameras.All except the first were for other people for their own use or for presents. [...]All refurbished were just like new.These are great little cameras,I carry mine in a case on my belt so it is ready to use all the time.One reason I like this is because it lets me show the DATE and TIME of DAY so I know exactly when it was taken such as on a trip. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this basic little camera. It also takes great photos.

What a Cool purchase
This was a surprise to see the new condition of this refurbished camera. It set up easily and I began taking great photos from the git go.The large lcd screen is very helpful for my sight impaired wife.

Okay but not great
I bought this based on a suggestion from my brother-in-law who does photography for a living. He said it is an "inexpensive solution for a decent camera". And I think that about covers it. The camera is a little bigger then my last camera (A Casio) but still very pocket friendly. The resolution on the back spring is horrible, but the camera takes good pictures. All and all the camera is pretty good, but it doesn't make you think quality product when you handle it. It would be perfect for a starter camera, especially at the price point.

Love This Camera
I'm new to taking pictures and had been using a lousy camera and was disappointed with the photos it took. This camera is just what i needed to take pictures of my grandchildren and trips out of state.

Great purchase for 'on the go' photos
My wife uses this camera to capture the impromptu moments she wants to remember. It powers up quickly, the auto focus works great and the picture quality is really better than I expected, very good. It's easy to use and navigate the menus. It's a handsome camera and exceeded my expectation. Have spare batteries available or consider purchasing rechargables. I plan to purchase one for business travel, great camera!
