Got this camera as a birthday gift for my rather advanced 9 year old granddaughter to use on a joint vacation. When I saw it I wanted to keep it for myself but gave it to her as planned. She immediately began taking excellent pictures and was able to navigate all the scene options, zoom, and movie mode. She is planning a power point presentation of our trip for her class with pictures taken from this camera. I opted for a refurbished version unsure about her ability to use an adult camera but it was in excellent condition and she put it to use immediately. I would recommend it to any casual photographer as easy to use and excellent quality and am looking to purchase the same model for my own use.

Nikon is one of the few manufacturers I would buy a Refurbished product from. The camera is excellent.

I use this camera just as a personal, non-professional camera, and it's great for that. It would be awesome if this camera had an LCD screen on the front (so on both sides). It would also be great if the camera could zoom more, and if the shot would be taken right when you hit the button, without a delay. Despite these suggestions of mine, it's a really nice camera.

I got this refurbed for half the price of a new model. All the accessories were in the box. The camera works great! I have not put it through all its paces just yet, as we take it on vacation next week.

Simply laid out, quick usage is easy. With some touring through the menus and thought even more can be brought out. Picture quality on the LCD is not the same as on a computer---which is better.

The SD card is placed in the battery compartment, which is not good. Otherwise good for casual photography.

This camera is easy to use and seems to be well made. I use cameras for work related documentation of engineering problems and this camera has clear pictures that can be cropped and zoomed in for my reports. I like having AA batteries so I am not limited by rechargeable batteries that run out of power.

I know from nothing about cameras. This was EASY to use right out of the box. Uploading photos is a breeze. handling and focusing are no problem. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who, like me, uses a camera for pleasure and NOT for their living.

I bought this camera because Nikon is a respected name in cameras, it's high resolution and it's portability for traveling. I love my full size camera, but this will be much more convenient for traveling.

This camera replaces another Nikon, which I carry in my pocket. Its specs are much, much better, and for far less money. I bought this as a Nikon refurbished for under $50. I believe this camera recently sold for close to $120. I never worry about refurbished Nikons. They may not come in a pretty box, but all the accessory equipment is included. Great value.
