I LOVE this camera. I got it when I was 11 (so 5 years ago). It's been really nice. I slammed it in a car door once and it still works great!! It's really nice for taking almost any pictures- the only issue i have is w/o flash it can be very blurry and the sports setting doesnt work too great imho. but other than that i love it! i've taken thousands upon thousands of pictures and it running great as ever. i hope this one never breaks cuz i dont know if i could find as good a one anywhere.

I have had this camera for over 5 years and it was still working strong, taking wonderful pictures and video. I recently dropped my camera on the lens for the first time and of course its done, but now will be hard to find a camera as nice as this one for a simple point and shoot daily use.

I was given this camera for christmas about 5 years ago. It has been all over the world with me, and takes fantastic photos. Just about a month ago, however, the lens started making strange cracking noises and then just died. The camera was my go to for many years. I will definitely go with Nikon again!

I too had my camera about 4 years and it was great for trips and worked fine until alas the lense ceased to close made a funny noise and died. Loved that camera. Not sure where to go from here.

I had this camera for about three years. I always used it, took lots of pictures and lots of video. I also used the recording tool. What I loved about this camera was that it had different scenes you could choose to help get the best picture possible. Also, it was lightweight and had a nice design. If you are looking for a long-lasting camera, though, I wouldn't head straight for this one. Just a few days ago, when I turned the camera on, I was sad to see that the lens wasn't coming out and it was making a strange noise. It was finally broken, as well as the charger, which was blinking rapidly when I tried to charge the batter. Overall, though, great camera, I would recommend it.

My brother gifted me this camera in around 2005. It has been my buddy since then i have taken nearly 4,000 snaps from it, Its an amazing feeling to see how amazing the snaps come out when we upload it on the system. i picked up photography cos of this piece of wonder. "m loving it! :-)

My wife and I purchased this camera back in 2005, have taken a gazzilion pictures and videos (of our new born, etc...) with it, have dropped it many times, camera has been all over the world, takes great pictures and videos until this day !!!

Bought this camera (in red) just as I was heading to our company's annual conference in San Antonio, TX back in 2006. I wanted to be sure to capture the great colors and cultural events during and after the conference. This little guy took spectacular, high-quality shots, is easy to operate, and has a variety of settings to take closeups or landscapes. Easy screens to navigate. Has been my standby workhorse on all my trips and excursions, alas, the cord has now become dislodged from the wall plug end and I need to get a new Nikon anyway. Will miss it but look forward to my next one :D Grew up w a Nikon fan, my dad.

ive had this camera for over 3 or 4 years and it have never caused me any problems. the pictures are amazing and clear. LOVE IT!!
