It was a hot summer afternoon when I made up my mind to purchase a camera. Earlier in the month I had been albumizing my family's photos and was greatly perturbed by the fact that there seemed to be no photos taken past 2004. So, I went out with my mother. We went to a few stores- and saw some highly unsatisfactory cameras- and were finally directed to Adorama (because it was open later than 5). When I saw the Nikon coolpix, I knew. I would be lying if I said the color wasn't an integral part of my decison making process, because many other brands came in ugly odd colors. When I got home and explored its many fantastic features, I realized I had chosen the super camera of cameras. The large screen provided a portal into the world of pictures and the features were INCREDIBLE. I was apprehensive about the touch-screen, but when I found out about the that I could add to my photos using the stylus I was very happy. The slide-show feature was very exciting. The pictures come out beautifully- although I noticed that in dark rooms they sometimes are blurry if ones hands aren't completely steady. On our trip to Canada, I was able to take lovely pictures of everyhing from friends to the beach scene. I also love the rechargeable battery! I love this camera!
