Used camera for trip to Italy. Wide zoom (28mm equivalent) great for buildings and groups. Battery life was more than 200 pictures. Easy to use. Nikon case on belt keeps camera safe and ready for quick use. Stabilization seems to work well as many shots inside buildings came out well when shot at 1/6 sec. Only negative is that the zoom action is fast and somewhat difficult to adjust precisely. I have taken about 1000 pictures with this camera.

I have found that on automatic when it is trying to determine which setting to use, it can take a long time to set and focus. If you set a specific preset it is very fast. I have not tried all the features yet. I have taken some very nice high quality photos. I have taken one video and it works quite well. I love the size and convenience of the pocket camera and find I get more shots because it is handy than I would if I had to carry my DSLR everywhere. I still use the D80 when I want control of the finished photo.
