This lens is an 8x32 and comes with a case, rubber eye cup, lens caps, strap, and 37mm threads on both ends. It is a fixed 8x lens with a 32mm opening. The lens comes with one adapter as well to attach to your camera. To use this with the Canon A50/S10/S20/S100/S110/S200/S230/S300/S330/S400/A10/A20/A40/A60/A70/S30/S40/S45/S50 you need an additional camera adapter. This lens works well with the above cameras as well as all Nikon Coolpix 700,775,800,880,885,900,950,990,995,2000,4300,4500,5000 cameras, Kodak DC260,265,290,DC4800,DC280,DC3400,DX3500,DX3600,DX3900,DX4300,DX4900,5000 Sony P30,P50, Olympus 450/460/490,HP912,500 series and more testing to come. Nikon cameras come with the 28-37 adapter - no need to order one.

This lens will give you an effective 304mm - 920mm zoom with the Nikon Coolpix 990 and a 304mm - 1,216mm zoom with the Nikon Coolpix 995 and 4500. You can zoom back to wide angle without much vignetting at all - NO OTHER LENS EVEN COMES CLOSE!! Objective end threads are 37mm for adding filters or extra tele-conversion lenses for that extra zoom.
