Unbelievable camera. Exif data showed it had 52 clicks. A person I work with has a D750. This camera is unbelievably clearer better pics with the same lens! (Visible with the naked eye on the camera screen and on a 23" monitor). Adorama had the best price out there. On ebay they sell for more...used.

The camera itself works as expected, I’m just not too happy about been stuck between their pricing game (ups & downs) ending up paid $50.00 more than their all time “regular price” (650.00), still thankful though, Adorama.

Could not be happier with this purchase, and the refurbished option is a no-brainer (mine came with only 22 actuations, so it's basically brand new at a fraction of the cost). While I'm still getting to know my D610, the photos are tack sharp and I'm pleased. Adorama has been amazing with their quick shipping and amazing customer service.

I bought a refurbished D 610 through Adorama. I would have to take out a magnifying glass to see that it was ever touched by human hands. Absolutely perfect condition as far as I can tell. I was kinda suspicious about the full frame hype. I was wrong. The photos I'm getting with it are SPECTACULAR! And I can crop and still have a spectacular photo. Only problem is I only have 2 full frame lenses so now it's back to the piggy bank. My wife is not amused.

This is my third Nikon DSLR but my first full frame. I am so happy with the switch. As a hobbyist who sometimes takes photos for friends and family, I was afraid to pay full price for such an expensive camera. This refurbished by Nikon camera was a perfect choice for me. I have had no issues with it thus far. I couldn't differentiate between this one and my other two purchased new from Nikon. The body has no signs of use or wear and all of the buttons and functions work perfectly. I look forward to expanding my lenses to really get the best use out of it.

Like new when I received it. Debated getting d750 but decided the tilt screen and enhanced video weren't necessary. Big difference in quality of my real estate shots using wide angle lens. Minimal noise in low light conditions and great color saturation

This camera looked like brand new. It didn't have the screen cover as on the model when it first sold, but that didn't matter to me. When I first got my camera I thought something was wrong with it because it was showing "error" message. I sent the folks a message at Adorama. They responded very quickly to my concern with great info. They told me I could send it back right away. But, I had already figured out what I had missed and the issue was fixed. I had been shooting with a Nikon D40 for 10 years. So, getting this professional camera at such a great price felt like Christmas for me! I am loving my camera. I am still learning through youtube videos about all the options on my camera and how they work. I am excited to take my photography to the next level. I would definitely order more equipment on Adorama. It was recommended to me by a friend.

So far I am totally impressed with the D610. It has that feel of precision you would expect from a Nikon FX camera. I think I made a smart decision buying a refurbished camera as a new one would have been out of my price range. And it takes great pictures.

So far really great camera. The shutter actuations was almost 40,000 so I was a little disappointed with that. But other than that the pictures are great!

Camera was in excellent condition, only 14xx shutter count, and couldn't tell it was a refurb otherwise. Hoping it lasts, and have no reason to suspect otherwise at this point.

I have been reviewing some new camera options, either a D5600 to replace my d3300 or D7500 to replace my D7100. Also reconsidering another FX body,[sold my D700] saw the refurb D610 here on Adorama, and took advantage of sale. After shooting just a few clicks, camera only had 550 clicks!. I think i got a great deal, and when i bought my refurb D90, about 6 or 7 years ago it too came from Adorama, I'm as happy as if I was sane?

I absolutely love this camera for photography. I've always been a canon shooter and lover, but this was my first Nikon and I love it. I've learned all the manual settings really fast, and have had no problem. Highly recommend this for whoever is looking to upgrade from a cropped frame to their first full frame.

The D610 is a great camera. The build quality is very sturdy without being too heavy. It's comfortable to shoot with all day long. It has every feature that most photographers would need and then some. Image quality is fantastic but that shouldn't be a surprise. If I were in the market for a camera today I wouldn't hesitate to buy the D610 again.

Write I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on this one including price, ruggedness, pixel count and overall functionality. If you look at the Nikon service advisories, the D610 has never been recalled for any issue, unlike the D750, D800 and D810. That is kind of huge, in my opinion. Here’s what I love about the camera. Lightweight: I travel around several times a year now and the D610 is the perfect DSLR to take with me. I can have this around my neck for hours at a time and not really notice unlike my D3 and D700. Yeah, it’s mostly polycarbonate, but it has a skin of tough magnesium alloy on the top and bottom. Being that it’s so light means you are less likely to damage it from banging into things as well. Better autofocus in low light……..this is really self-explanatory. Battery life: MUCH better than either my D700 or D3. Ultra-fast image buffering, again, self-explanatory. Some things that took some getting used to include an odd way to set the ISO setting, but once you set it to auto-ISO, it’s really not an issue. Also, if you are using the Nikon remote release, you will need to extend the auto-off feature. Again, these are small issues and shouldn’t dissuade you from purchasing this fine camera. your review here. It must be at least 10 characters long. Consider whether you would recommend this product and what you like or dislike about it.

Tons of features that are great but would through a beginner. It's very similar to the D600 with a few improvements. Still not that great in low light. If you have the money, invest in a D750 for that low light boost and improved processor. But if working on a budget, this camera is beautiful. Thing is the FX is very different mental game from the DX. Both are amazing, but different in style and lenses and it takes a bit of getting used to jumping from one to the other. Oh, note: though it can work ok with DX lenses as some are compatible, highly advised you get FX lenses with it as well. As for a refurbished product, I haven't noticed any problems yet!

I just received my 2nd D610, a refurbished body. With it came a pleasant surprise. After the initial setup I had to see the delivered shutter count. I snapped the camera's 1st image, which I loaded into PS CC. I drilled down the File menu to get to the EXIF data. The image number was "17." That means my refurbished D610 arrived with only "16" shutter actuations. That's like a new D610. So Nikon USA either repackaged the camera to sell at a lower price (for clearance) or it installed a brand new shutter assembly. Either way I couldn't care less. This is a remarkable camera to get started with FX.

This refurbished d610 is fantastic! I was a little worried about shutter count on a refurb unit, but when it arrived a quick check revealed a count just under 1000. Haven't had any spotting issues that other reviewers have had so it may be hit or miss. If that is a concern for you, I'd pony up and pay the extra $200. Other than that, this camera hits all the checkmarks in a lot of ways that it's big brothers are delivering. Super impressed with how it handles low-light situations, delivering nice, clean, low-noise images. Looking for a full frame Nikon at a great price point? This one is just right.

Pretty good dollar value full frame camera with handling and performance you'd expect from a Nikon. Still has sensor spot problem as the D600. Very good low light sensor sensitivity, weight, shooting ergonomics. Disappointing autofocus in light conditions. It's a a good camera if you're upgrading from a DX, otherwise I'd wait for the next iteration of Nikon's small-size full frame camera.

This is my first purchase of a full-frame camera after years of testing rentals. I loved the 600 and looked forward to buying a 610. When the time came, I felt I could take a chance on buying a manufacturer-refurbished unit. The result was some images had spots resembling the oil-on-sensor problem that the 600 was known for. I've returned the unit within the 30-day period, and I'm deciding whether to add the extra money to get a new 610 from Adorama or take a chance buying a refurbished one from them or another dealer. Let me emphasize that I feel this is a terrific camera, and I think I got a problem one that got through the system somehow. I'm happy to recommend the 610.

Recently I purchased a refurbished D610. This was a step up to a full frame camera from my D7000. Last year I had purchased the full frame 28x300 lens. I could not be happier. The video qualities are a huge improvement over the D7000, as the video handles flawlessly changing indoor light conditions. The auto focus system is much simpler to use than the D7000. Because the firmware is similar I was able to bank setting for scenery and people very quickly in the U1 and U2. I absolutely love that feature. The photo quality is amazing in the D610, as it handles outdoor photos and indoor photos in florescent lighting just perfectly. This is an amazing camera, and it a big step up from the D7000, which was an amazing step up from my old D70.

Remarkable AF performance with compatibility up to f/8 sensitivity benefits action and wildlife photography
One of the keys to capturing razor-sharp images is a fast, precise autofocus system, and the D610 has one of the best. 39 tightly packed focus points with wide-area AF coverage offer endless compositional possibilities. Nine cross-type sensors in the center offer superior accuracy even when light and contrast are scarce. Seven center focus points work all the way down to f/8 for extended AF functionality with teleconverters and long-reach lenses. Switch between 9, 21 or 39 point AF, allowing for compositional freedom. D610's Scene Recognition System's subject identification and tracking information means enhanced performance by 3D Tracking and Auto Area AF. When shooting photos or HD video in Live View, Nikon's responsive contrast-detect AF activates for accurate fulltime autofocusing.
Exceptional performance and quality Flawless metering and onboard intelligence
The D610 delivers consistently beautiful images, thanks to Nikon's intel ligent Scene Recognition System with 3D Color Matrix Metering II. Its 2,016 pixel RGB sensor evaluates every scene, taking into account brightness, contrast, subject distance and the scene colors, all within the time it takes to press the shutter release button. That data is then referenced against an onboard image database for consistently accurate exposures, auto white balance, i-TTL flash and subject-tracking autofocus performance.
Broadcast-quality Full HD video at your fingertips Two video formats in one camera
Nikon is committed to developing HD-SLRs that empower and inspire filmmakers and video enthusiasts, and the D610 is proof of that.
