This camera was a step up from the D60 and I can see the difference between the two. The D90 is a great camera for what I want to use it for. I do photo shoots for family and friends and with the D90 I can see the difference in the quality of the prints. I am still learning the features of the camera. Starting to shoot in RAW and notice the differences.

My impression during the brief period I had the camera was that it takes excellent pictures. I'm sure I barely scratched the surface of its abilities. I used to use 35-mm film cameras (Pentax, Yashica), but for a number of years have carried around the latest incarnation of Casio's pocket-sized wonders, and I soon realized that I simply would not take many pictures with the (to me) oversized Nikon. Adorama's return policy was straightforward and just as advertised.

Coming from D40 so this is an upgrade for me. Color is accurate and gives very good image quality. It is fast and very easy to use. The info button is a real plus as it shows you the current camera settings and you can make quick adjustments there too. I don't use the video mode as I prefer to use a camcorder for that purpose. Overall, a very good camera.

I've owned the D80 for a number of years now and have wanted the D90 to compliment my camera system. It's the better of the two with live view, a larger LCD and more menu options to name a few. The best part is, both use the same battery and battery grip so I can save money on accessories and space when I'm out on a shoot. Adding the 18-105mm lens to my compliment of lenses was also a big factor in my purchasing this great camera.

I always wanted a D90 even though it has been superseded by newer models. It is an absolute classic and used by enthusiasts worldwide. I saw it at a great price and could not resist. The D90 is a very flexible camera and can be customized pretty much any way you want. Its low light capabilities have been exceeded by later models, but it is still capable of taking superb pictures. The 18-105mm kit lens doesn't get a lot of love but is perfectly fine within its limits. If you are wondering how this compares with a more modern entry/mid level body like the D3200 or D5200, read Mason Resnick's excellent summary on this site.

Great customer service. Camera arrived on time and in good shape.Great price also. I'm new to the Dslr cameras so for right now the camera is much better than I am. My first test shots came out great. I think i'm going to like this camera once I figure out how to use it properly

Camera was new in Nikon D90 packaging. Everything was included as advertised. Camera functions very well, great photos. Lots of room to grow with this semi-professional camera.

It's the D90 an overall work horse and has something for everyone. I bought it with the kit 18-105 lens. Love the lens. I have never spoken to anyone that has had a D90 that didn't love it. So far, I am having a great time. If I had enough money tomorrow, to buy the Nikon top of the line, I would buy the new one and STILL keep my D90. Got it on a great deal from Adorama. If I were to win the $1000, I would just spend it at here anyway. Excellent products and service. Thank you.

This was an upgrade from my Nikon D50 and I simply love it. The weight, speed, ergonomics not to mention the picture quality is phenomenal. Great bargain for sure.

Everything screws counter clockwise instead of clockwise. Lots of buttons and selections to push and adjust. Not very sensitive to some light sources. I use it for biological research purposes and I realized the lens is not very sensitive. OK camera for the price.

First, I bought this for 600 with lens and sold the lens for 250.( I never used the lens so no opinion on it ) I had the D7000 and for low light it is much better. The 2 presets on the D7000 are great also. I needed to recover some cash and sold all my pro lenses and the D7000 and was using a D70 ( still useful ) until it acted up. I couldn't pass on the D90/Lens deal so I have a D90 again. Easy to use DSLR with excellent color and contrast up to ISO 800. Usable at ISO1600 but not by much. Over 1600 is bad. ( IMHO ) The D7000 was great even at ISO2500 and still good at ISO3200. You loose 1 stop using the D90 but for 90% of what I do the D90 is 95% of the D7000. If I had the extra dough, I would get the D7000. If all you can afford is the D90, it is still a great camera if what you need it for is under ISO800 to 1600.

Now both of us have a D90 to use in our photo-art greeting card biz. It's fast and so easy to use, a real improvement over my former D40 we sold at Adorama. I haven't found anything not so great yet.

This camera has very good cost performance. Easy to use, pretty good image quality, nice lens. Overall a pretty decent one for a starter. Only limit is the resolution, but it's acceptable.

As my first DSLR purchase it meets all my standards. For a camera that's considered older in digital world, it is very affordable while offering many features that many semi-pro users demand. The kit lens is bulky because it covers a pretty good range. I personally prefer using fixed lenses that are faster.

The nearest thing to a pro camera. The snappy focus, and accurate exposure take many a photo that would probably be lost if it were another camera.

My helpers use these and so far so good with plenty of usage in sometimes not so nice conditions they seem to hold up well for a semi-pro user, so the value is there.

After a lot of research this is my first dSLR purchase. Had the camera for less than a month so I am still getting used to the menus and flexibility of the camera. Really like results of low light pictures.

This is a great camera for the money! I live in Europe and do a lot of travelling. I am very happy with the quality of my photos, both indoors and out. I am also a doula and birth photographer and this camera doesn't disappoint!
