Exact replacement for D300/s. Fit and finish excellent as with all Nikon products and easy to install. Excellent service. I was able to find one as I had purchased camera without one in used condition. I had extra Dk-25 that fit but needed to have the correct eyecup. They are not costly at all.

Functionally fine. This is the second one that has come off and been lost. Very annoying. Put tiny tab of glue to hold this one on.

My "recommended" check was only because they fit the camera and are slightly better than nothing. The rubber on my last two started breaking down after about two years here in sunny San Diego. It blocks out little light from the side, whether you wear glasses or not. I used my camera for a month without one and hardly noticed the difference, except the viewfinder was a bit easier to dust off. You'd think that technological marvels like the D5000 and D7000 series cameras would have an eyecup that was more functional and longer lasting.

Used as a replacement on my D7100. I believe that using these type of parts are best served by using genuine Nikon replacements. There were no problems... it stayed in place.

What can I say, the old one slipped off in the field and I needed a replacement. Thread on Nikonians.org popped up the day after I ordered where somebody else lost one. It happens. I believe the new one fits tighter than the first one.
