I have ( had ) Nikon cameras' and this battery life span is the worst I've had to deal with. Just like that - poof and it won't hold a charge! I purchased the camera Sept 2018. I have two other Nikon's bought in 2017 and they are still going strong.

I always carry an extra battery for my cameras on every trip. Last month I lost my extra battery when I threw out an old bag, unaware that it was within. I tried to order it from Amazon and from B&H, and they both turned me down, because of a supposed mail regulation. Then I ordered it from Adorama, and they delivered. Ive purchased aftermarket camera batteries for a different camera I own and they do not last. Drained quickly in the cold, and usage time between recharging was significantly lower. If you compare amp hour ratings between branded batteries and aftermarket batteries you'll see that they are not made equal.

I like the camera a lot, but it may be me, but I am having some difficulty removing the battery to charge my second battery to charge it. I like to keep a back up battery charged up incase I run the first battery down, and want to take more pictures.. I have not yet learned all the choices for what settings to use for taking a different type of picture. Otherwise I cannot think of anything I find a little confusing.

While rushing to prepare for a trip, I actually ordered the 2 rechargeable battery packs accidentally; I thought I was ordering 2 batteries! Didn't know you could recharge the battery outside of the camera. It's very convenient, worked like a charm. I will give the extra one to my friend who has the same camera.

I was recently on an Alaskan cruise, and I wanted a backup battery just in case I ran out of power while trying to get that last picture of a glacier or soaring bald eagle. These are quality engineered batteries and have plenty of power for zooming in close, shooting short videos, and reviewing pictures in playback mode. I highly recommend this battery.

Have this battery in a P7700. I charged it maybe 10 times and all of a sudden, I went to turn on the camera and...nothing. So after reading some of the other reviews and the overall rating, and seeing that the battery is on backorder (probably because so many people need a replacement), I can only assume there's a problem with some of these batteries. I'll order another but this shouldn't happen, the batteries on all my other Nikon cameras have never failed and some of them are years old.

I have a Nikon AW100 camera that I use for both personal and professional purposes. Professionally I use it as a video camera which will drain a battery very quickly. After trying some off-brand replacements that were far inferior, I purchased one of these true Nikon batteries which provide power for about twice as long as the knock-offs. This is the 2nd Nikon battery I've purchased from Adorama and like the one before it, it performs beautifully. Worth every penny of the cost and then some!

I really wish that I would have read all of these reviews before I purchased this camera. I bought it for my wife for Christmas 2012. Used it a few times in 2013, June for my daughters graduation was the last time. Now its April 2013 and I leave for vacation to Mexico the day after tomorrow. I plug in the camera to get it ready, and nothing. No power, light won't come on, nothing happens. I have taken maybe 20 pics with this camera, now I have to pay $37.95 for a new battery. NIKON should refund peoples money or send a new battery! This is outrageous!!

I'd been burned by off-brand replacement batteries for my Nikon AW100, so I set out to find a true OEM battery. Every place I found them had outrageous prices except for Adorama. Their price was only slightly higher than the cheap knock-offs & they shipped it out quickly. I will return to Adorama for all my camera & camera accessory needs in the future. Finally a trustworthy & quality vendor!
