The GPS adapter was a loose fit, but since I cut a 1" piece of a 1/4" wide rubber band and wedged it between the GPS adapter and the GP-1 clip it has done quite a good job.

Too expensive, but just what is needed

This clip fits on the small end of your camera strap (picture folding it over on the hinge in the center of the clip - the lower half is the back and the upper half holds the GPS. This is a better mounting point than the hot shoe, which tends to block use of the built-in flash. But really, thirteen bucks for a small piece of plastic, that's ridiculous. I used a reward credit to buy it and still felt guilty.
