This is just what I wanted for my Z6II. Fit and finish are perfect, and upon installing it worked as expected. Nikon product quality is outstanding. I?ve used Nikon products since 1966, and will continue. Adorama made this purchase an easy task with great customer service and shipping. Thanks so much

I went to purchase this battery grip today to use on Z6ii. I brought with me two en-el15a and enel15b batteries. The grip displayed an temporary error indicating unable to turn on. The camera store expert got it to turn on. I turned off and turned on again, same error. He said most likely have to use en-el15c batteries to avoid this error. One would think, the grip would be battery backward compatible. Also, cannot use the USB charging port without EN-EL 15 c batteries.

Used F3s with motor drives for years, this set up really brings back memories and gives me more control when I grip it, either portrait or landscape. The extra battery capability has never been drained even in all day shoots, but the balance and control is what sold me on getting it. Makes long lenses more balanced and shorter lens easier to control. My personal preference. I never shoot without it.

A long wait. Worth it. Certainly is a great addition to my Z6ll Nikon. Adorama kept me in their reminder list for this when restocked. I was so happy. Thank you Adorama!

This battery grip is a nice way to add a vertical shutter release and control dials as well as almost doubling the battery life. It also provides more balance when shooting with longer lenses. To insert two batteries, you open the latch on the side and slide out a cartridge. The cartridge for adding the batteries is not as solid as I would have expected, but works well. My main complaint is the price, but what are you going to do?

I have waited nearly 6 months for this grip and it is all I had hoped for! I can hot swap batteries and turn the camera easily and quickly while still being able to adjust what I need to! If you don?t have a grip?.get one!

very well designed. I love that you can charge the batteries while this is still connected to the camera.

The Nikon MB-N11?s grip and button placement are perfect for my hand. Compared to the MB-16 Vert Grip for the D750 the MB-N11 feels much more solidly connected to the camera. This is likely due to the way the MB-N11 connects to the camera with both a locking screw and a vertical shaft that goes into the cameras battery chamber and thereby and excellent stability. Some feel it has an eye watering price tag and with a price of $399.99 they might be correct but it is money well spent IMO. I do have one niggling issue with the MB-N11 and it is the battery chamber door that pops off every time I open or close the chamber. It clips right back on but for $400.00 - 0.01 it should stay together IMO. Long story medium? If you?re a sports and wildlife photographer like me it?s a must have for the Z7II and the Z6Il. Happy shooting!

The MB-N11 Power Battery Pack allows me to have a full day of shooting without worrying about changing batteries in my camera. It also provides a comfortable grip with photographing vertically.

This product was as advertise and far superior to the third party power pack I had purchased earlier.

This was the grip that should have come out with the Z6 and Z7?slick in that you can replace one battery in seconds since it?s hot swappable and you can charge batteries in the holder with the USB AC adapter that came with the camera?and you have the AF-On and Command wheels to make changes comfortable and on the fly when shooting vertical.

I always use vertical grips on my cameras, and this really works well. Having two batteries, and the ability to charge while attached to the camera is a definite plus. I?m giving 3 stars because QC is horrible. After only 8 months of use, the grips are already pulling off.

Does what it is supposed to an is very compact! My only complaint is that the rubber door hinge from the camera is going to wear out quickly if you take this off the camera often. Otherwise, 5-stars.

The battery grip is very well made and has very good dust, moisture, and weather sealing. The battery grip allows for charging of EN-EL 15c while in the grip. The grip is also backward compatible with older EN-EL batteries, to achieve maximum performance I suggest the newer 15c batteries. - When one battery is depleted it automatically switches to the next battery without power interruption. Can also be charged using a portable USB C battery charger. Allows use of the shutter button on the grip as well as the function wheel while in portrait mode. I purchased this for one main reason to help balance my Nikon Z7II with my Nikon 600mm and Nikon 800mm ED FL lenses on a Gimbal head. With the added benefit of longer battery life. Used mine for two weeks in the field without any issues good weather and bad.

I bought the Nikon MB-N11 grip for extended shooting power and for convenience of shooting vertically. The grip fits my Z6 II perfectly, and makes the whole body much more balanced and comfortable to use. I like it a lot.

Great addition to my Z7ii and Z6ii. It is well designed and does not add much weight. I use a battery pack on my D500 so it did not take much time for me to adjust to using one on my Z cameras.

Of all the Nikon Multi Battery Packs I have ordered in my life (this is like the 3rd or 4th), this one has by far the poorest design and is the most fragile. It works as it should, but taking off the battery compartment door on the camera each time and having to store it on the top profusion is an awkward and delicate procedure, and frankly, I?m afraid one time it?s going to snap off, and then I?ll be up the creek.

Great build quality and functionality. Improves the overall handling of the camera. Only complaint is that the built-in shutter button can be too easily pressed unintentionally causing others camera functions to be interrupted. One example being turning image review off while turning camera orientation to view vertical photos.

I have used cameras with and without battery grip. I find shooting in portrait mode is easier with the battery grip. The lens/camera/grip seems to me to be better balanced. The product appears to be well made and well thought out I like the fact that you can pop off the camera battery door and store it in the vertical column of the battery grip. Thank you Nikon well done.

The battery door is super-flimsy and will easily comm off in your hand, but is a real BEAR to put back on! I might recommend a 3rd party grip when one comes available! it's typical of the overall quality of the new Nikon mirrorless line of products.

Works great. Just make sure it's screwed as tight as possible to the camera. Love having 2 batteries.

Love having the vertical grip with the batteries for a mirrorless camera because they burn through batteries so much quicker. The grip was on back order when I placed my order but was shipped within a week of my order with upgraded shipping for no charge. Great service from Adorama.

What an improvement a generation makes! This grip is what a battery grip should be. It adds heft and functionality to the Z6 II by allowing easier photography from a portrait orientation along with some nice versatility of options for the function buttons. The ability to not only hold two batteries, but also charge both of them while it is running (Most likely used only for video). It's fairly expensive, but we've all come to expect that from Nikon at this point. If you have a Z6 and use it professionally in any capacity, you will want to get this grip.

Nikon MB N11

This is just what I wanted for my Z6II. Fit and finish are perfect, and upon installing it worked as expected. Nikon product quality is outstanding. I?ve used Nikon products since 1966, and will continue. Adorama made this purchase an easy task with great customer service and shipping. Thanks so much
Where precision and extended shooting are paramount, the MB-N11 Multi Battery Power Pack with Vertical Grip emerges as the quintessential companion for Nikon Z 6II and Z 7II mirrorless camera enthusiasts. This meticulously designed power pack not only facilitates a comfortable vertical shooting experience but also significantly enhances camera handling, especially when paired with heavier lenses.
The MB-N11 is equipped with a full suite of controls, mirroring the camera's own interface for seamless operation. This includes a vertical shutter release button, main and sub command dials, an AF-ON button, a sub selector, and customizable Fn buttons, all of which contribute to an intuitive user experience whether shooting in landscape or portrait orientation.
Photographers will appreciate the substantial increase in battery life, with the MB-N11 providing up to 1.9x longer performance (according to CIPA standards) when utilizing two EN-EL 15c batteries compared to a single EN-EL 15c battery in the camera body. The innovative hot-swappable battery feature ensures uninterrupted shooting sessions, as one battery can be replaced while the other continues to power the camera.
The MB-N11 also boasts an enhanced grip for secure handling and shares the same dust and drip-resistant build quality as the Z series cameras, ensuring reliability in challenging environments. The inclusion of a USB-C port offers versatile charging options, allowing for in-grip charging of batteries via a portable charger, AC power supply, or even while connected to a computer. This feature is particularly beneficial for videographers who require continuous power for extended recording times.
Compatibility with the entire EN-EL 15 series of rechargeable Li-ion batteries adds to the MB-N11's flexibility, with the option to use any combination of EN-EL 15, EN-EL 15a, EN-EL 15b, and EN-EL 15c batteries. The unit can function with just one battery inserted, automatically switching from chamber A to B as needed, further ensuring that your creative process is never halted.
Additional functionalities include individual battery power level monitoring, a tripod socket for added stability during long exposures or time-lapse sequences, and the capability to use the optional EH-7P Charging AC Adapter for convenient charging of EN-EL15c batteries, whether the unit is attached to the camera or not.
Stills and movie performance metrics are measured under stringent conditions specified by the Camera and Imaging Products Association (CIPA), with a NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S lens at a controlled temperature, ensuring reliable and consistent operation for professional demands.
The MB-N11 Multi Battery Power Pack with Vertical Grip is an indispensable tool for professional photographers and videographers who demand the best in ergonomics, reliability, and extended camera operation from their Nikon Z 6II and Z 7II mirrorless cameras.
