Somehow I lost my battery charger, I went on different on line stores looking for it. I saw many chargers with higher prices. Adorama had it at the right price and made it super easy and simple for me, and I received it in 2 days!

I purchased this charger for my Nikon cool pix s4000 because I lost my original charger. This charger works great. The blinking lights tell you the level of power the battery has as its charging and the charger is really convenient!

It recharges the battery, that's what I bought it for.

The charger requires an additional cord instead having the capability of plugging directly into the outlet. Means there is just an additional piece to get lost. Don't think there are any other options, as the charger is specific to the battery and they use so many different batteries...
