Good starter bag

Bought the D5000 in a kit with two lenses, a bag, and a Nikon intro DVD for my 19yo son. The bag is nothing special, but nice for an entry-level system to have anything without spending extra $$. Expect to replace after he's used the camera and figures out what bag/style he prefers.

perfect for camera and some extras

I take my camera everwhere. The bags dividers allow me to position my camera so I can quickly grab the camera and shot in seconds. Compact and protective.

Too small for camera plus lens

Could hardly fit D40 with 18-55 lens on it plus 55-180 lens. with hardly no space left for a tiny SB-400 flash. pocket hardly fits charger+spare battery and couple of filters

Save you money!

Nice little bag, if you just have a camera and one small lens. This came with a kit for my D5000, but It was too small to use for anything but the camera. I dont have that much gear, but could barly fit the camera, flash and lens for storage. And on the street, big enough for an extra lens, exra card and battery, but for no room for the camera too. If its free with a kit, ok for trading, but save your money if not, and buy a bigger bag. I ended up taking this bag to the local camera store and trading it in for a bigger bag that would hold camera, flash and a couple lenses.

Its a good deal for 1st DSLR buyer

The product is good for first time DSLR buyer but for advanced photography need to buy additional lens. The lens provided with the camera is not good.

I would recommend it to others

I use it every day. It's big enough to carry everything that I need. For travel I use my other bag that is a little bit heavier and give better protection. I think this is a great bag for the price.

Good but big

I am a beginner and I have only the 18-55mm filter. I don't need this bag, it is too big. I will buy one smaller because it is better if you wanna go, take a walk and make some pictures. Anyway it is very good if you have more than one filter!

Do not go for this, if you are going out

This bag is ok as it came for free with my SLR purchase, but I cannot carry 2 or more lenses at a time in this, because of lack of space. Also keeping this huge bag on the shoulder is a pain. I would have preferred a backpack as I like to carry the camera around. Also if your are serious about photography do not go for this bag. Its bulky and not enough room for all your equipments.
