I use this in my D500 with a Lexar 32GB 2000x card, they work great together. Plenty of storage for a days shooting.

I decided to make the switch over from SD memory cards. So glad I did. Thanks for the advice from your representative. Very informative, very helpful. Can't wait to make future purchases. Thanks again. Timothy

The Sony's XQD card download time is fast. This is the card I used in my Nikon D5 and my D4. However, the D4 has two card slots, one of which accommodates XQD and other slot, the CF card. I could compare the downloads' times between the XQD card and CF card. This comparison was not scientifically conducted. The comparison is on my personal experience as in "Hey, hurry up and download. Will ya!"

Let me start by saying that this is a bit pricey card. However, this card let my D4s zip out pics like nothing else. I shoot college sports and a lot of it. I normally shoot JPEG for sports but there are times (spare time) for portraits family and individuals plus other stuff I use RAW. So this card really sees heavy use. highly, highly recommended!! It is worth the money for heavy use and high frame rate shooting.

The card does not read properly in the Nikon D4 all the time. It flashes ERR CARD message for about 10 seconds and the camera will recognize the card. Other times the card needs to be re seated. It will once the camera, card sync will work. It is fast when up loading to the computer. Maybe there needs to be a firmware upgrade. Have the latest in the camera. There is not much info, but have seen this is a problem elsewhere. Maybe a firmware update is in the near future

I purchased the new G Series XQD card for a video project. It worked perfectly and was lightning fast. Just what I needed.

It is very fast but also very pricey. Free card reader helped!

I wish Nikon D4s came up with two of these in the camera. Having two different cards do not seems to benefit the speed. Other than that it functions as advertised. Also, it comes its own reader. So, don't need to buy extra reader when you buy this card.

This is the fastest memory card that I have ever use for any system at all. I use this card in a Nikon D4S. I always shoot raw+jpeg and down loading these files from a CF card can be a bit lengthy but the XQD card is super fast. One of the great things about this XQD card is, it comes with a reader that can be connected directly to your computer and a cable that allows you to plug the reader into if your USB slot is in an awkward position on your computer. It is fast downloading files directly from your camera but it's a lot faster using the reader. better using the reader so I always remove the card from my camera and. The only thing I didn't like about the card is the price. I feel the price should be lower based on the price of other memory systems, SD, CF, etc. I was reluctant to buy this card for my D4S at first but after getting and using it I am glad I did. Well if you are shooting with a D4S you shouldn't be worried about such petty thing as the price of a memory card.... I only said that because I knew someone was thinking it. I will tell anyone who has a camera, computer, or anything else that has an XQD memory slot, don't hesitate just go on and but this card you will be glad you did.

The Sony 32GB XQD G Series Memory Card for Cameras/Camcorder is compliant to XQD Format Version 2. Both PCI Express Gen. 2 and USB 3.0 interfaces are supposed on a newly developed controller for high performance. G Series now offers increased read speeds up to 400 MB/s and write speeds up to 350 MB/s, nearly triple the speed of the N Series.
XQD G Series cards are supplied with a dedicated USB 3.0 adapter, which offers convenience and efficiency for professional workflows. It dramatically reduces ingest time by over 50% when compared to the fastest Compact Flash card, even for large quantities of RAW images or data-intensive 4K video files.
