Essential but overpriced by Nikon
Very expensive aluminum ring that must be used to attach accessory lens to the P 5100. It really should be multifunctional to justify the price, as an adaptor to hold filters, for example.

Practical adapter w/ excellent build
this item allows use of converter lenses from the Nikon 950 or 4500 coolpix seies.

I would buy this product again
I have used it with TC 3ED Nikon tele converter ,it works very well besides the TC is bulky and heavy for the Coolpix 5100
