A must have!

Needed a second set for my real estate photography camera bag so I wouldn't have to keep taking it out of my main photography bag and taking a chance on forgetting it when I show up at a house. A must have when shooting with a tripod and you need absolute stillness in your photos. Simple to use and extremely reliable. Had my other one for over four years now and I have only had to change the battery once. I highly recommend this for Nikon users. Don't settle for cheap imitation knock offs. You spent thousands for your camera, why save a few pennies for the extras when the OEMs are more reliable?

WR-R11A & WR-T10 does work

After a little bit of trying to follow instructions for remote photography and using the SB-5000 off camera, I did get it all to work. Patience and following directions required.

Small and effective

It took a bit to figure out how to pair it on my Z9, but once I did they performed flawlessly. Nikon wisely provided light wrist straps for the WRT-10 because it is so light and small it would otherwise be easily lost, especially in low-light shoots. These pieces will definitely not take up any extra room in your camera bag or put any weight on your camera.

Better than expected!

The WR-R11A is designed to fit cameras with a 10-pin connector and can be triggered by a WR-T10 Wireless Remote Controller (transmitter) or a WR-1 Wireless Remote Controller. It can also function as a master controller, capable of triggering up to 64 transceiver units. This feature is particularly useful when capturing the same moment from multiple perspectives or with different lenses, either as a still image or video.

To ensure smooth operation even in crowded environments, the WR-R11A/WR-T10 set offers three radio frequency channels. This prevents interference when multiple pairings or photographers are shooting in one location. The WR-T10 transmitter enables various operations such as autofocus, video recording, continuous shooting, and quiet shutter-release shooting. It can control a single camera or multiple cameras with the WR-R10 attached, providing a range of up to 66 feet (or up to 164 feet when using the WR-R10 as a transmitter).

For successful simultaneous release, the WR-T10 and WR-R10(s) must be set to the same channel and paired in advance. Please note that depending on the camera model, there may be limitations to the accessories that can be attached simultaneously with the WR-R10 Wireless Remote Controller. Forcibly attaching accessories may cause damage to the camera or accessory.
