Fast auto focus with E5

When I upgraded to the E5 from the E 520 I decided to up grade to this lens for my son's wedding since I got drafted to be the photographer. I couldn't be more sttisified with the combo. In low light this lens really has an advantage while using the auto focus over the kit lenses. The range of 12-60mm is perfect for some closeups and group shots. This is one nice piece of glass. I use this on the E 5 and the 18-180mm on the E 520 body to cover a wedding with great results. This is the lens you will take most of your pictures with so it is well worth the cost.

Best lens for general use

Bought this lens for my E 520 and it works great. Just moved up to the E-5 and this lens really shines. The fast focus and use in low light can't be beat. This was the first time I've bought a refurbished lens but it won't be the last one. Other than coming in a different box the folks at oly made sure the glass and functions were perfect.

really nice lens

Bought this lens for a couple of weddings I'm doing. I have the Oly 18-180 which is good at weddings for zoom shots. Used this for the first time at another event and this is just perfecet for closer shots. Will look at the oly 50-200 for the longer shots next. The speed of focus of this lens has prometed me to look at better lenes that Olympus has to offer. You do get what you pay for.

An all-terraine lense

There two things to highlight over all the rest: f2.8 and range from 12-60 that becomes an 24-120 in 35mm format. With this two things makes this lens a "must have" for fourth-thirds. Just this two features lets you use the lens in many different situations, low light, outdoors... There's a third feature; SWD but in my humble opinion it is not such a "super" as I expected. What really impressed me is the solid construction. By the way I saved up a couple of bucks because my lens is refurbished.
