CURTIS N : Will this lens work with the Olympus OM-D E-M10?BAYARDO L : Your best bet is to visit the Olympus website to se compatibility of lenses to your body, if Adorama didn't post it.JO ANN L : No-But with Proper Adapter, you can use it manual only. It is only tack shapte 50mm! It is more trouble than its worth. Besides it has a plastic body made in China! My advice is to save up and buy the proper Micro Zuiko lense. I sugest the 12-50 Micro 4/3 Zuico, it comes in black or silver and it is splach proff to go wih tour Omd E-5. Lee Livingston
JO ANN L : Will it fit an Olympus 510?BRETT H : i honestly do not know...I bought it for my wife for Christmas, and had to return it, as it did not fit on her camera (don't recall her camera name / style).TIM M : Yes. The E500 and the E510 both use a four thirds which allows for the interchange of lenses from different manufacturers. To be sure for yourself, google the E510 and E500.

looks good to me

I haven't used this lens very much (it's winter and it's cold outside), but what testing I have done has gone very well. It's very sharp which is the main criteria.

Very Good Lens

I bought a Olympus e-500 body for my daughter as a Christmas gift, and needed a good lense. This lens fit the bill perfectly. It is light, and ease to use and update.

Won't fit the E-500+ series

I purchased this to replace a broken lens on my E-510 series camera. It was advertised to fit, but is the wrong part. Otherwise, the lens is light, versatile and seemed to be new, even though it was not 'new' condition.

Outdoor advantage; Indoor Disadvantage

This lens is best suited for outdoor use only. An exceptional lens for candid photography as portraiture, landscape/sceneary. Any control that needs a push of more than 300 iso would be quite bad for this lens performance (For me, only meant for outdoor and mid-indoor photography). Buy this lens for outdoor -- it's good!

hard to use indoors with any type of flash unit. low light focus very tedious. camedia 300 is easier to use with better results.

small, light, & sharp enough

amazing quality from a lightweight kit lens. Nice contrast too.not fast but at these focal lengths this is not a great problem unless you want to shoot indoors no flash - in which case you need a specialist lens anyway!

This 3x standard zoom lens is the smallest and lightest in its class and features a closest focusing distance of only 1 inch. The ED (Extra-low Dispersion)and two aspherical lens elements correct aberrations without increasing lens dimensions. The circular aperture diaphragm enables beautiful defocusing - one of the big advantages of this lens. Excellent mobility is assured by a weight ofless than 7 oz.
