This lens is great for the price! Easy to use, lightweight and even though its only f4 still creates stunning images that are super sharp and detailed. My only complaints are that its missing the the manual focus clutch that other pro OM System lenses offer, and sometimes the small amount of blurred backgrounds you do get from this lens can be a bit busy looking. Other than that I would highly recommend this adding this lens to your lineup.

Very sharp lens, the image quality is rival that of pictures taken on Canon L lens. This lens is small, about 4/5 the side of a soda can and with the reach of 300mm in full frame equivalent, it is a great travel telephoto lens. The aperture of f4 is not a handicap when pictures are taken with some light, the attached picture was taken during a misty cloud cover winter day and it still came out with great details at F4.

I wanted a compact sports lens for hiking and skiing. EXCELLENT SHARPNESS and extremely compact. There is nothing not to like about the 40-150 F/4 Pro.

I love my 40mm-150mm F 4.0 lens. It is light it was easy for me to adjust to it quickly. I love the way how the photos come out it's really extremely sharp. I would definitely recommend this lens It's awesome.

This lens is a prefect companion for any Micro 4/3 camera. It's lightweirght with a constant f4 apreture making the perfect walkaround lens. The lens is brigth and very sharo.

On an E-M5 series camera, this lens makes for a very lightweight combination that has so far been wonderful for hiking, biking, and travel. The lens needs to be extended to shooting position with a twist of the zoom ring, which has a mechanism built-in that allows it to "click" into the collapsed and shooting positions. However, the lens does not get longer or shorter as you zoom between 40mm and 150mm, which I appreciate. The lens does not have a function button and it lacks the clutched focus ring, in case those features are important to you. It would also be nice if the lens could accept teleconverters, but unfortunately it does not. However, I really like the rendering of the lens, and the image sharpness is amazing across the entire zoom range...definitely one of the sharpest telephoto zooms I have used so far. The images are every bit as nice as the 40-150, 2.8 Pro I used to own, so one gives up little or nothing in the image quality department if portability is more important to you. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and I can see this lens replacing others that I own, since its small size, solid build, and image quality have been making it my first choice to carry with me when I head outdoors lately.
