Adorama keeps shipping wrong items

ADORAMA is awful and has made so many mistakes with my orders that I'm never using them again.

My used Olympus lens review

very clear lens, I am using it on my Panasonic Lumix G95 I got all kinds of nice comments on the shots I made with this lens... So far I am liking the results from this lens better than the 100-400 panasonic I purchased at the same time.

Olympus M Zuiko Digital ED 40-a50mm...Zoom Lens

I am new to adding lens to a camera since my previous cameras were point and shoot. With the few photographs I have taken with this new lens, I believe it will work out very well and help me capture the images in a manner I am accustomed to with even greater detail and clarity. It was easy to attach and did fit my camera. I am adjusting to how to use the lens for zooming in to my desired subject (in particular thus far roses on my rose bush) and the use of the camera which is also new. Therefore, I have limited results thus far using the lens.

Works well

Very small, very light. Price can't be beat. I like it a lot. But I wish it did come with a lens shade...

A nice lens for a nicer camera (Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II 20.4MP Mirrorless Camera)

I bought this autofocus lens on sale for $99 which was $100 off. It was bought for my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II 20.4MP Mirrorless Camera, which was also on sale for $849. You can spend $1,000 and get a lot less camera but I spent most of this year looking for a new camera and waiting for the right price, I don't see how I could have gotten a better deal on either the camera or this lens.

Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 "R" Zoom Lens

Lightweight. I used this lens to shoot a wedding on one camera body and the 12-40mm f2.8 PRO lens on another body. I was fairly astounded at the quality of the images. Other than flare control, I was hard-pressed to tell the difference! It is a bit slower, however, the IBIS helps some in this regard.

Great addition

I am no professional or expert by any means, but I found this lense to be a great accompaniment to the 14-42. I can cover a lot of ground with just these 2. If youre looking to add a 2nd lense to your collection, this is a great choice.

Awesome pictures

Normally the assumption is to get great pictures, one has to have expensive lenses and/ or cameras. I've learned this is not true after getting this affordable lens. I've used it to take Fall pictures and the images I got are awesome. I will definitely recommend this lens anytime.

I was not expecting 'great' from this inexpensive lens from Olympus. But I was pleasantly surprised! It's sharp and lightweight. The ability to manually override the focus is a plus for that exacting image. Highly recommended!

Underrated little lens.

Lens body is nice and light (not metal body but thats okay) which is perfect for the smaller micro four thirds cameras like, EM5 series, PEN series, GH series etc. Sharpness is stellar. I would say its about as sharp as my M. Zuiko Pro lenses. Perfect lens to keep in your arsenal.

The Right lens in So Many ways.

I like to travel with my camera, the E-PL7... the size & weight of this lens is perfect for me. My 'experienced amateur' skills are satisfied, whether doing wildlife & landscapes events & architecture. It has expanded my telephoto range without weighing me down or straining my budget.

"Zuiko MFT Telephoto 40-150m"

The Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 "R" Zoom Lens, Black, for Micro Four Thirds System, is everything I expected. I've used Zuiko glass since film days and never been disappointed. The Adorama price and service were outstanding. I live in Canada and can't believe how easy it is to process an order online and get it so quickly. The lens is light and takes a standard 58mm filter. It is the perfect complement to the OMD Olympus cameras and the logical next step after a 14-42mm kit lens.

Compact but powerful

This is a great light weight, lens especially when you compare the size and weight of a traditional DSLR lens, practical for travel and street photography, Smooth and accurate, yes you can get more solidly built lenses but this price, its great value, five stars at this price.

Punches well above it’s price-point

Surprising how nice this lens is, especially given the price-point*. Yes its a value built lens but the fit and finish, and photographic results it is capable of belie that. Additionally it’s lightweight which is also a plus. Exhibits responsive focusing when mounted to my Olympus Pen EPL-8 and produces tack-sharp subjects with awesome bokeh backgrounds (and foregrounds). In short I love this lens and have NO regrets about it’s purchase. *Coincidentally it falls below our “spousal approval required” purchase amount threshold so the CFO’s approval wasn’t even required for this bad-boy!

OLYMPUS M. Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6-R-MICRO 4/3 Lens - SLVR

What kinds of features make a high-performance zoom lens, well, high-performance in the first place? You’ll have to forgive us - it’s a bit of a trick question. After all, those same features are the exact kinds of features that make the OLYMPUS M. Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R MICRO 4/3 such a compelling candidate for your next zoom lens purchase.

Product Highlights

  • Fast autofocus means that you’ll have a camera lens on your side that’s capable of moving about as fast as you are.
  • A close focusing distance of down to 0.9m gives you the ability to photograph a subject at close ranges, while its wide focal length range allows the flexibility to shoot much farther subjects with the same exacting focus standards.
  • With the Olympus 40-150 lens, you’ll also have a maximum image magnification of 0.16x, giving you the ability to grab those rare photos from across the horizon.

Acquire an Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R lens for yourself and you’ll see just what a good zoom lens is capable of: just about anything that even the most picky of professional photographs might require.

Learn about the OLYMPUS M. Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6-R-MICRO 4/3 Lens - SLVR

Fast, powerful, and exciting—the adjectives that describe the kind of shots you can take once equipped with this OLYMPUS M. Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R MICRO 4/3 Lens – SLVR also describe the lens itself. Sure, it’s built to be able to handle all sorts of action, what with its smooth zooming and just-as-smooth autofocus. But it’s also attractive, thanks to a lightweight design and easy interchangeability that ensure you can get as much use out of the lens as possible. In all, there are few zoom lenses here at Adorama that offer the same degree of quality at a moment’s notice quite like this Olympus 40-150mm lens.

  • Action-ready. A lens has to be action-ready, whether you’re photographing someone moving around in the studio or taking a zoomed-in action shot of a live game. But what exactly does a phrase like “action-ready” really mean? Well, when it comes to the Olympus 40-150mm lens, it means that you’re going to be able to grab your trusty zoom lens and take a quality, accurate shot within a moment’s notice. That means you won’t have to be surprised or startled when a subject like a wild deer appears on the horizon; you’ll just have to have the lens handy.
  • Handle closer shots. Everyone knows a zoom lens is important if you’re going to be photographing subjects that are far away. But a lens that can also handle closer shots with crispness? Now that’s something to behold. So behold the Olympus 40-150 lens’s ability to handle even close-range subjects instantly, thanks to a wide telephoto range that gives you the versatility to handle distant birds as well as close-by portraits. If you’re attending a live event, you’ll have all of the zooming power to capture everything, no matter how far your seats may be from the stage.
  • The lightweight design means that this telephoto lens isn’t something that you’ll have to lug around with discomfort. Truth be told, the photography industry has moved past the idea that bulky and expensive means better. A lightweight lens is better than a heavy one, especially if the lightweight one is capable of the same kind of imagery as the heavier option. Our advice? Stick with the lightweight lens. They’re just as capable, and much easier on your back.
  • Accessories are nothing to sniff at, either. We at Adorama love a good accessory. And with this lens, you’ll receive a lens cap, a lens rear cap, an instruction manual, a warranty card and the Olympus warranty itself, which means that you’ll have everything you need to protect your new favorite lens no matter how often you get outdoors with it—just don’t start throwing it around like a skipping stone and you’ll likely have this lens for many years to come.

From aperture to autofocus to angle of view, this OLYMPUS M. Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4-5.6 R MICRO 4/3 – SLVR has everything you could hope for from a zoom lens. The main challenge? Finding subjects worthy of this lens for as long as you’ll use it.
