Battery Charger for BLM-5 Lithium-Ion Battery

Getting the batteries for an Olympus e-500 is getting hard. However the battery for the Olympus e-5, the BLM-5 does work, but to use them the Black charger for the Olympus E-500 does not work. You'll need the white BCM-5 Dedicated Multi-Volt Charger. I get more shooting time with the new batteries and the charging time is about the same if not a little faster.

Like the greater capacity.

I continue to use the original black PS-BLM1 batteries without a problem but I appreciate the higher capacity of these newer batteries.

You'll need the white BCM-5 Dedicated Multi-Volt Charger. I get more shooting time with the new batteries and the charging time is about the same if not a little faster.

The BCM-5 is the dedicated lithium-ion battery charger for the BLM-5. It recharges the BLM-5 battery in approx. two and a half hours (at room temperature) and it is included with the Olympus E-5 digital SLR. The BCM-5 is compatible with the international power supply of 100~240V AC.
