This is my second remote cable to purchase after losing my on a wildflower workshop. Was very happy to find a used one. It does fit my Olympus E-5 even though it is not listed. Works very nicely for long exposure (night) or to get the best shot without camera movement.

Works for all shutter speeds - including B. No more push the button and wait 2 seconds. Just push the button. It also has a lock mechanism for long shutter exposures. Don't know how I survived without this piece of gear.

I am using it with Olympus HLD-3, Power Battery Holder for EVOLT E300 Digital Camera. It gives my camera a lot more options. It is lightweight but It feels flimsy. I have it for two months and is working fine but I do not know if it will last.I would buy another one because it is increase the use of the Olympus E-300.

Nice unit - provides BULB shutter operation not provided by the IR remote. Bought used - box is a little beat-up but the release looks brand new.

I got this remote because I have recently gotten into High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography and this makes it easy to set my camera up on the tripod and snap bracketed exposures. Highly recommended.
