Made of good material with top-rate workmanship. This is a two piece case, top and bottom. The top is fastened to the bottom with three snaps, two top on the sides and one at the bottom. I have been unsnapping the two on top and swiveling the top half of the case to shadow the cameras LCD screen. Very handy. The inside of the case is suede to protect the camera except for the inside sides of the lower half which have a silicon rubber-like coating to hold the bottom to the camera. In a few years this coating will probably get dusty and lose its tack. Then I will cut a hole in the bottom and use a shouldered tripod screw to hold the case unto the camera. This is the case to get if you want quality. A minor redesign to enhance the use of the top to shadow the LCD and the use of a positive fastening method to hold the case to the camera would make this case unparalleled. Buy this for your E - P1.
