The Pen F has become my primary camera but I found it clumsy to use with the longer, heavier Pro lenses. The all metal grip, however, overcame that issue by providing greater stability and comfort to the camera/lens combination. Its impressive quality enhances the enjoyment of using and owning the Pen F.

The Pen-F body is a bit tricky to hold without either this grip or a case bottom with a molded-in grip. I use both methods. This is nice because it has an Arca-Swiss dovetail machined into it. The attention to detail is good.

I recently bought an Olympus Pen F body and decided that the external metal grip ECG-4 was the way to go. This is not a cheap accessory, but it is substantial and heavy. Access to the SD cards is challenging, but it can be done with patience. The battery slips in and out easily through the bottom of the grip. In these days where most everything is plastic, it was a pleasure to find something well-made like this accessory grip. Unlike the accessory grips for my OMD Olympus bodies, this grip only functions as a rip, without another shutter release. Still it is a good product and one I will leave on the Pen F camera.

This grip fits the camera well and allows removal of the battery and card while installed. The card removal is tricky, but doable. My favorite part is that it is made with an Arca compatible dovetail, so it will fit most of my tripod heads without a plate. Nice touch.

This great not only gives you a better grip on the camera it also solves the problem of using pro lines and the tripod mount. While the Pen F is not bad to grip on its own adding this grip does give you a much better hold on the camera.

Improve your experience of the PEN-F - enjoy the ultimate ECG-4 camera grip for enhanced handling. With its high-quality, robust metal construction, this larger grip ensures a better handling with long lenses. Once attached to your PEN-F, the grip's ingenious design gives you instant access to the battery compartment - without having to unscrew the grip leading to shorter interruptions whilst shooting. It also sports a quick shoe rail (Arca type) feature which allows one-touch mounting to compatible tripods and other mounting devices.
