The OM-D E-M10 Mark II's compact size make it a great travel camera. This is a decent, but not huge, step up from a smartphone camera. I do wish it had clean HDMI output to use as a webcam or for streaming, though.

I picked this Olympus camera up as a deal of the day from Adorama and I couldn't be happier. I've owned several Olympus cameras and I really like the 5-axis IBIS and I think it works much better than Panasonic's DFD. This is an older model but it's a fine camera and it's so small. I thought the kit lens would be a joke but it takes good photos. I have the Olympus 45mm on now and I'm getting some great cat portraits. I tried it with the 17mm and I'm getting great results too. Thanks for a great deal, Adorama!

MFT is a great format for me as it hits the sweet spot in terms of image quality vs equipment size. Not only is the camera compact, but also the MFT lenses. Olympus cameras are fun to use. Their Android app to copy pictures via WiFi direct is crappy and slow so I don't use it.

So far so good. I've taken it on a couple weekend trips and got some surprisingly good pictures with it. Video is okay, only able to shoot 1080p. But for the price you can only expect so much.

This has been a fun little camera to bring along. I'm still trying to figure out how to best use in low light, but when there is plenty of lighting it is a pleasure to use. This is my secondary camera, my primary being the Nikon D5600. It has a lot of features and the included lens is surprisingly compact. I'm very happy with the pictures so far. Got a great deal on it too.

Love the camera, I’m still learning about all the features but it’s been perfect to bring camping and bring along places on my bike. Well worth the money.

I restarted my photography career with the Olympus Pen E-P1 when it first came out in 2009. It was one of my favorite cameras I've ever used. The versatility of it really enticed me to shoot more. That was some time ago, and the shutter started to go years back as well. I had moved to a full frame camera, and even though I've been working with it for a while, I always missed my M4T, since it was lighter and more portable and just felt more like a joy to shoot with. As soon as I seen the steal of a deal for this (also bought a 25mm Zuiko for it), I absolutely had to get it. Even my cell phone has more megapixels than this camera, but I feel this camera is just an absolute beast in terms of functionality. I highly recommend it, I pretty much stopped using my FF camera ever since I've gotten this!

Good pic quality and a lot of camera for the money. Only downside so far is that the menus are confusing.

I'm new to photography. I was looking for something compact without sacrificing too much picture quality. I researched for about a week. I was reading various reviews on numerous mirrorless type cameras. As a newly minted father, I needed something to capture my son's milestones without breaking the pamper bank. I pulled the trigger on this deal because of the price. I have to say, im overwhelmed with the quality pictures this thing takes. I'm able to connect to my smartphone to import pictures to share on various social media platforms almost instantly. The pictures I print out at home come out crisp and clear. I'm still learning the ins and outs of photography, but im very happy with my purchase. This lands on the top 3 functional purchases in my lifetime. First being my home, second being my car, and third would be this camera. Buying this camera is like having an American Express card - you won't leave home without it!

This is my first Mirrorless camera, and I have to say I love it. It's small and easy to carry, but has some great features packed in. Lenses are easy to find, and affordable. Software is intuitive, the wireless app, while a bit buggy for android works great with ios.

Bought this camera for my son who is just starting out in photography. Wanted to give him a camera that had a lot of features and options without breaking the bank. Found this on sale and looked up info online. Lots of reviews pointed to this camera as a great starter camera for the novice aspiring to grow into photography. Like the fact that it is small yet feature packed. Much easier to carry than a full size DSLR. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

The OM-10 Mark II blew away my expectations. It is a nice handling camera, produces astonishing photos and, with a few cheap adapters, is compatible with all the lenses I have thrown at it. Also, since it is mirrorless, the manual focusing capability of the camera is amazing! It has way more features than I know what to do with and some that I do not care much for (art filters, for the most part). The tiny little 14-42 EZ lens is a revelation too. This is a sweet combination and the price is right now that the Mark III is out. If you have been thinking about MFT and care more about your still than your videos then this is the camera to check out at the time of this writing. Get this camera now and have a few bucks left over for some glass.

This is a very nice and excellent Mirrorless camera for startup’s or any one new to Photography. The Ergonomics and the options this camera has are numerous. This cam has lots of built in features which can be used without the need of a computer. And the can be shared on the spot with excellent app connectivity.

This is my first 'real' camera and it is so much fun! Got a 25mm f1.7 portrait lens to take family/pregnancy photos and I've taken amazing photos, maybe better than pro photos taken in the past. Just watched a few YouTube videos on the camera and the fundamentals on manual photography. Kind of hard to get a grip on the camera on the right edge because of the small size of the body so I ordered a fotodiox grip for the camera that I'm waiting on.

For what I needed.... excellent. Replacing an old EPL3 which severed it purpose. Some of the better features kind of buried in menus but usable. Not the same as a full size but I appreciate the pic and ease of use vs the weight / size difference. Only real gripe is the small number of shutter clicks per charge. As small as a point and shoot with better pics and the use of all my micro 4/3 lenses.

Coming from a Panasonic DMC-GH3 and GH4 (and excluding my bigger DSLRs), I was surprised at how small this thing is, and I have small hands. The E-M10 Mark II is tiny to the point of looking adorable! It's uncomfortable to handle, though, the buttons feel very cheap, and the shutter has to be half-pressed down harder than normal to focus. I was wondering why it wouldn't focus. My other cameras have way more sensitive shutter buttons. Those are the cons that stand out. The good things are that, at least in my case, the kit lens is sharp enough to be the sole lens if needed, and I'm comparing it to the way sharper Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 25mm f/1.4 and Sigma Art DN 60mm f/2.8 Seriously, it's a very fun kit lens to use, and weighs so little, you can't feel it. The OIS works good. I've yet to see any shake in my pictures. The JPEGs straight out of camera have surprisingly good color, white balance, and retain plenty of details even at ISO 1600. I like shooting in RAW for pixel-peeping purposes and editing flexibility if I want to tweak, but if you dislike the fuss of the process or simply don't want to bother, the E-M10 Mark II's JPEGs in my opinion are very good and useable as is. These are my favorite straight out of camera JPEGs so far. The colors are properly saturated while remaining natural. Seriously, they're very nice as is. Moving on, 15 years ago, I really didn't care about camera and lens sizes because DSLRs were simply how they were. I happily lugged my heavy camera and lens bag to social events, but in these actual times, things have changed a lot. Life is speedier and more mobile. Size matters more than ever now, so I'm embracing small mirrorless cameras and really appreciate their benefits. When you don't have a big system weighing you down, you can have more fun, and more fun equals better opportunities for pictures. This is a camera to take everywhere with you and have a blast without worrying about weight or size. Unlike DSLRs, it won't hold you down or become a burden. It really is a tiny camera. Also, if you haven't made the move or branched out, don't worry about the smaller sensor of MFT cameras. Really, they don't look worse than APS-C and FF cameras, which I also own. If you take good pictures with full frame or crop sensor cameras, nothing will change for you with MFT except that you'll have greater mobility. If you like to pixel-peep, it's just as enjoyable on MFT. Wanna know what camera I purchased prior to this Olympus? A Sony Alpha A7R II. Don't pay attention to the crazy people on the Internet and their tribalistic mentalities. You don't have to choose sides. Anyway, if you simply just want a small system that takes great pictures without having to worry about megapixels and FPS, I recommend you this kit. God bless!

I purchased an Olympus old m10 markii at an excellent price. The camera came in good time considering the current circumstances. I love the camera and the service from Adorama. I will now try trading in some of my equipment with Adorama and will see how that experience works out.

This camera is just awesome. I owe it only for few days. So far I'm very impressed with picture quality and all the features. I owe much bigger Canon 77D with twenty lenses as my primary. This is my daily camera. My Olympus will be carry every day and everywhere with me. So far I managed to gather few lenses for it, from kit 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 Olympus, 12-50mm F3.5-5.6 Olympus, 40-160mm F4-5.6 Olympus, 19mm F2.8 ART Sigma, 60mm F2.8 ART Sigma and 6.5mm F2.0 Opteka. I think his is a very good start for a gear plus Godox TT350O flash and couple of Bluetooth transmitters Godox XT2O. Gear wise, I feel confident. This Olympus camera is excellent. I was actually thinking about buying Olympus OM-D M10 Mark III, but lock of wireless flash and few options, plus the plastic top, made me buy Mark II. I don't shoot a lot of video, so not having 4K Video does not compromise my purchase. I'm very happy with my Olympus Om-D E-M10 Mark II. Picture quality, all of its functions, which I still have to learn, makes this camera a very good buy not only for amateurs, but also as a backup for pros. SO far there was no picture I could not take with my Olympus. Image stabilization is amazing in this camera. ability to tweak almost every option and then edit pictures in the camera in a big plus. 16mp Sensor still is good for 8x10 blow ups, which is what I mostly need it. The other surprise to me was the kit 14-40mm II R Lens. It works much better than expected from a kit lens. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. I don't any other option in this price range coming even close to what Olympus can offer. I was expecting a strip down version of older model of the camera. Instead I got very capable, latest model camera with top notch functions.

This is a powerful compact camera. I've been shooting Olympus OM equipment for decades and never have I wanted a feature or function that Olympus could not provide. The challenge now is to learn just what this EM10 Mark II can actually do for me. I always encourage people to compare the Olympus to anything else they might consider.

Just switched from a crop sensor DSLR and so far I love the M43 format. The more I learn about the camera, the more I can see how it's such a unique format and size. Really excited to take this to Iceland in November/December!

Useful with Old Manual Lenses
By JOHN K.
Like most people, I built up the basic Canon EOS 35mm film package back when I first got married and started a family. I did not justify purchasing the Pro series lens back then, so I opted for the gold line EF series with ultrasonic motors. Basic coverage, I got 3 lens. 28-105, 100-300 and the Nifty 50. During the days of film shooting, you really had motivation to make each picture count because you had maximum of 36 tries to get a picture that you like. I jumped onboard late in the digita...

Tiny but powerful...
By RAMON J.
The good things are...

Get serious without getting complicated. Whether you're new to photography or an experienced enthusiast looking to maximize your creativity, the E-M10 Mark II is for you. The sophisticated but easy to use E-M10 Mark II delivers flawless image quality, best-in-class 5-Axis Image Stabilization and intuitively placed controls to help you find your own style. It's also compact and easy to carry everywhere you go, unobtrusive enough for discreet street shooting but versatile enough for anything from long-range wildlife shots to miniature macro masterpieces.
Metal dials with classic design set the OM-D E-M10 Mark II apart from other interchangeable lens cameras, while controls - like the prominent thumb pad designed to give you a firm grip for comfortable, one-handed shooting - are thoughtfully positioned so you can operate the camera without taking your eye off your subject. Inside, the E-M10 Mark II is the only entry level model in its class offering many features found in professional models.
You can freeze time in perfect clarity with the E-M10 Mark II. 5-Axis Image Stabilization neutralizes camera movement. The Touch AF Shutter lets you focus and release the shutter with virtually no lag just by tapping the touchscreen. High-speed burst shooting with a max of 8.5 frames per second will capture fast-moving subjects in a sequence of stills. Plus, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity means you share your photos with the world within seconds or even control your camera from your phone or tablet.
From starscapes to landscapes, macro to zoom, the E-M10 Mark II is ready for whatever and however you like to shoot. Build your system with lenses from Olympus' 20-strong and growing M.Zuiko Digital lens lineup and you'll be ready for anything. From compact primes to powerful telephotos, Olympus' optically superior lenses are designed to deliver spectacular images in astonishing detail.
The E-M10 Mark II's interactive OLED electronic viewfinder (a first in the OM-D family) is large, bright and with 2.36 million pixels, allows you to see any changes to the camera setting. The new AF Targeting Pad allows you to keep your eye on the viewfinder - and on the action - as you trace your thumb on the rear touchscreen to adjust focus points on the fly.
The E-M10 Mark II lets you shoot all the action with five Full HD variable frame rates, an intuitive touchscreen that lets you alter settings and add creative effects while you're recording, and a compact design to facilitate hand-held recording. It also solves the problem of mega-size video files with the innovative CLIPS feature; you can shoot short clips, edit them into a single portable video and post it to social media - all in-camera.
Take your shots to a new level with the E-M10 Mark II's range of in-camera creative tools, including 14 Art Filters and 5 Photo Story layouts. Or, capture stunning star trails and streetscapes with ease using 'Live Composite' Mode. Use 'Time Lapse' mode to record a series of images over time, resulting in a breathtaking 4K Time Lapse movie with brilliant detail. Your creative possibilities are endless.
