Shopper : Are both the Camera and lens fully covered by an Olympus warranty or are they grey market items? Thanks, TomSHARON C : Both are covered by an Olympus warranty.RICHARD N : I have already had a U.S. warranty repair on the body with no difficulty. I presume the lens is also covered. Both were registered with Olympus.TOM M : they are not grey market and are covered by Olympus. Adorama and other reputable vendors distinguish this in their ads, and you the grey market parts will be less money for the same item....CHUNG CHING Y : I believe so but not 100% certain.OLIVER A : both are covered by olympus' professional warrantyLINDA H : You should really ask a person at Adorama this question. I assumed my camera and lens are covered in the states. So ask Adorama reps for reassurance.CHARLES H : Tom, as far as I know they are both covered by the Olympus warranty. I registered mine direct with Olympus upon receipt. I have delt with Adorma in the past both purchasing and selling used equipment. You can't go wrong with Adorama. If concerned about the warranty ask your sales person about upgrading to an extended warranty. I have used mine since June with no problems.FERROLD T : Adorama is an authorized Olympus dealer. Neither the camera or the lens is identified as gray market. I have no doubt that they both are covered. However, your question really should be put to Olympus directly.JAMES S : Covered by Olympus. However I did purchase an additional three year warranty contract.HERB C : I've owned Olympus since I was in college in 70's, also Canon and Nikon. The omd E M1 us the best. Professionally or amateur, you will love it.KENNETH J : They are covered by the Olympus warrantyHENRY K : The bundle I got in June 2014 were US retail items, not grey market. The camera body and 12-40 f2.8 lens come in separate retail boxes.DAVID E : Both are fully covered. (And the 12-40 lens is awesome.)STEVEN P : I bought mine through Adorama. Mine DID have the full USA warranty on both. You have to check the ad to be sure it does have the USA warranty and it WILL say whether or not it does. I did buy the 'extended warranty' through Adorama which cost far less then other dealers' although it does allow for aftermarket parts that takes it through 5 years including accidental damage. I have NOT had to use it yet, however. I bought mine in July and have heard about a change in Olympus' USA warranty. Have been extremely happy with my OMD-EM1!
Jan Z : What kind of warranty comes with the camera and lens?
