Yeh it's a hipster camera but great value in a small package! Pretty obvious the market they are targeting with the retro styling and "selfie" feature of the flip out display they tout but nonetheless a great full feature camera in a small package. I sold my Nikon DSLR gear and downsized! In addition to all the things you would expect on any modern DSLR minus the mirror and the bulk. I now take this camera and zoom lens with me all the time. Olympus pen PL8
It has a great look and very easy to use. I wanted a light camera so I purchased it with 14-42mm EZ lens instead of 14-42mm II R. I can take this camera anywhere and it takes very nice pictures. I have heard a complaint that in a selfie mode with LCD monitor down you cannot attach a tripod. But it seems you can avoid this problem by using a dual camera mount bracket.
