Very powerful, I think the guide number is conservative.
I love this flash's convenient mix of power and small size, and the fact it could be triggered and controlled for different settings by the OM Wireless command unit that is sold separately, i think the guide numbers could be conservative because i am having too much power on 1/128 about a meter and a half from the subject when shooting wide open with my Awesome Zuiko 45 mm 1.2 lens, I metered with my sekonic at 200 ISO and 1/200 shutter speed F2.5 about a meter and a half...that is plenty of ...

Great addition to E-M1X
I don't use flash too often for my work and personal use, but the FL-700WR has been great so far. It's sufficiently powerful for my needs and has done everything I've asked of it thus far. I've used it to photograph people at events and for family photographs. The FL-700WR has worked very well when photographing captive birds and those in the wild. Built-in LED Video Light
The built-in 1.5w LED light in the FL-700WR is a useful tool as both a continuous source for video shooting and as a focus assist light when shooting stills. One-touch on/off control lets you quickly access 100 Lux power (at 1m) when you find yourself in a low-light situation.
Advanced Features with OM-D E-M1 X and E-M1 Mark II
When paired with the OM-D E-M1X or E-M1 Mark II camera body, the FL-700WR becomes a sequential shooting powerhouse. The flash fires continuously at 10 frames per second for 50 shots at 1/16 power* and state-of-the-art charging circuitry enables the FL-700WR to recycle in just 1.5 seconds2 when shooting sequentially, so you’re always assured of getting the shot.
Multi Mode1,3 allows you to capture movement in your photos, by firing the flash multiple times during one exposure, further enhancing your creative control.
