Just what I needed

Just the right size for the lens. It fits great and stores by reversing and locking in on the lens. One thing to remember is that with the hood reversed and stored on the lens that the recommended storage bag will not fit. You will need a larger bag.

Olympus LH-61E, Lens Hood

Perfect fit for the Zuiko Micro 4/3 75-300mm f 4.8 to 6.7. It works as expected for an OEM Hood. It is reversible so you can store it right on the lens. It should be included in the box with the lens when you purchase the lens, but it isn't. You need to ask Olympus why it isn't included, not Adorama.

It fits both ways!

There seems to be fiction about this lens hood not fitting backwards for storage on the M. Zuilo 75-300mm lens. It fits! It goes on the over the same bayonet fitting that is used to hold the lens in the functional orientation. This fit in both orientations includes when protective glass is mounted on the lens.

Original Mfg Hood much better than the less expensive copy

I had purchased a copy of the hood from Asia. It would not stay on or 'lock' into position on the lens. There is no comparison between them, except for the look. I was disappointed in Adorama because, for some reason the NJ tax charged on the transaction seems to have included the freight in addition to the product. It is my understanding that that is not proper.

It fits, it works, it's rugged. Not much more you can ask of a lens hood. Looking forward to it fitting the same way on the 75-300mm II.

Hood should come with the lens!

For ($), the Zuiko ED 70-300mm lens should include this hood. All prior Olympus lenses for my Evolt 500 included lens hoods.
