Fantastic addition to your 25mm or 45mm prime.

I didn't have high hopes for this converter, but if you already have the 25mm or 45mm 1.8, this is a solid value. I find it to be very sharp and gives those primes a whole new dimension. Easily slips into a pocket when not in use, and solidly built.

Greatness in a small package.

This converter lens takes beautiful macro shots.A lot of fun getting up close and personal with flowers and bees.I love it.

You get a little more than you pay for...

I thought for the price, I would try this macro converter with my 45mm lens. It works well enough for taking decent pictures of the jewelry I sell but doesn't have true macro capabilities. Still, it was cheaper than my Olloclip and definitely has a place in my bag. I gave it 4 stars because even though it is worth the $50, it will not save me from having to buy the $400 macro lens eventually anyway.

The Olympus MCON-P02 Macro Converter screws onto the front of select M.Zuiko Digital lenses and shortens the minimum focusing distance. This allows you to get closer to your subjects and still capture them in clear focus. It includes a 37-46mm step-up ring for compatibility with smaller-diameter lenses as well as front and rear lens caps.
