I love this camera...great deal for it's price! I have always been a canon person, but I find this camera awesome! I think it is easy to use and very intuitive! Not too hard to figure out. I love how rugged it is. I can let my toddler take pictures with it too as it has no zoom lens and zooms somehow internally.....with a plate that slides over the screen! Awesome as he can't break it like he broke our two previous cameras. Also, he can drop it and it's totally okay! Takes great outdoor pictures and actions pictures....which is what we're using it for! I can't wait to use it with my kids at the pool and beach and snorkeling! I have already used it outside while playing in the pool and with the sprinkler with the kids - it's great! It has a fast shutter speed so you can definitely catch the shot you want with little kids. I wish that the button in the middle to select with was more like a canon and easier to use...it is just easy to select the wrong thing with my big fingers! However, just do it more slowly and I get it right. I also with the battery lasted a little longer....I just need to buy a back up one. Great pictures at dusk and sunset!

Average photographic performance and excellent water resistance for a great price. Image quality is fair (not as good as either my Sony bridge or my Panasonic P&S) but is acceptable. Needed something for taking photos in downpours and at the waterpark and this camera meets the criteria and did not cost much.

Perfect for our family vacation. Easy to carry along, great video and underwater captures. We will probably buy another one from Adorama.

Purchased to take on a Grand Cayman snorkeling vacation. Took over 2000 pictures in 9 days. Loved how durable the camera was and took it everywhere. Loved taking it snorkeling on the reef. I got some fantastic shots. By the end of vacation everyone was asking if they could use my camera. Only thing I would change is I wish there were a few additional underwater adjustments you could make, otherwise perfect!

Only had it a month. Excellent pics. Little heavy. To retrieve pics., the opening and closing the access door is a pain.

I purchased a Tough 810 five years ago and loved it. Unfortunately, I dropped it off a cliff while hiking and was unable to retrieve it. I decided to replace my Tough 810 with the Tough 820 because of the added Magic Filters. I just returned from a trip to Rocky Mountain National Park and the 820 did not disappoint.

I bought this to replace the Tough 320 that I drowned. the 820 has a duel lock and if either is not locked, the lock switch is red. Fool proof for someone like me. I have a very expensive Digital which I managed to scratch the lens on. That can not happen with this great little camera.

I've been shooting these as snap shots cameras since the 400 in 2003, I have the 8010 and it was good, but the start up was 6sec, this new version is a hair under 1sec so that is good! the bad thing I noticed was in video mode it has a tough time focusing on moving objects, I was at the beach at 3pm and the dogs were running around, it had a tough time keeping focus. The good side the color on picts seams much better then the 8010. The 1080 vid is nicer then the 720 on other models. I got this a week ago and it's nice for sure I will now sell my 8010 my full time camera is the Canon 7D but this is great to take kayaking, camping etc on !!!
