Shopper : can we manage files in different folders? Do I need to take it to computer for this task?LUCIENNE Y : That's a good question. But I honestly don't know. Haven't used it as much as I anticipated. My guess is Yes, though. Sorry I wasn't more helpful.
Shopper : any difference in materials for blue vs. gunmetal?HAIDONG Z : No difference in functions. Blue asks a few more bucks because of its color. A common practice in selling a car has its life in electronic products now.KENNETH A : Yes! the difference would be in the color. I'm certain the material used was the same type of plastic. The blue which I have is a very pleasant dark shade of blue. I would imagine the gunmetal color is grey. I don't believe either has the appearance of being "chromed." If you in fact want chrome buy the "silver" one. I bought the blue because it was innocuous. I didn't want flashy - I wanted to be able to have it in my hand or pocket and not have people realize I was carrying something. Best answer I can give. Hope this helps

The Olympus WS-822 Digital Voice Recorder (Blue) can record and playback audio files using LPCM, WMA and MP3 formats. The internal 4GB memory supports up to 1000 hours of recording and the included rechargeable battery can power the recorder for up to 37 hours. It also has a microSD card slot, so you can add an additional 32GB of external memory. The WS-822 is equipped with two internal directional condenser microphones. It has a built-in USB 2.0 connector as well, which supports direct connectivity with your PC or Mac - no USB cable is required. The recorder has a built-in mic with noise cancellation technology, but it also has a microphone jack for connecting an external mic. It supports Voice Balancer and Voice Playback functions as well. Other features include a calendar search function, a scene select function, six folders that hold up to 200 files each and support for up to 99 index marks per file.
