Excellent deal! Not only did I receive a macro lens, which I have wanted for years, the lens came with a number of accessories and some nice software programs. The only negative is the software programs continually ask you to upgrade to a more robust program. Wish that would stop.

I got this lens largely to take macro shots of insects. It does a great job at that, and I like it very much.

It is very well made. The body is metal not plastic so it feels like a sturdy build. It is on the heavier side so be careful when putting jt on a smaller body camera. It focused very quickly while taking macro shots. I highly recommend

Superb macro lens. Small, lightweight. Excellent focus time. Nice color rendition. Highly recommended M43 lens. I have used on Panasonic Lumix G1 and Olympus E-PL5.

I prefer studio macro with a tethered camera using bellows, tube lenses, and microscope objectives. Regardless, I was curious about MFT and wanted to test the waters. I purchased an inexpensive Lumix GX85 body and this lens. The configuration is compact and makes for an easy camera system to carry around with. The lens can focus from a 1:1 magnification to infinity making it a flexible all-round lens for my type of use. As far as picture quality, I can't help but compare it to my studio images which is probably unrealistic and unfair. I would compare its sharpness to a reversed EL-Nikkor 50mm f/2.8 enlarging lens on a bellows at 1:1 magnification with a full-frame camera. Good but not great. On the other hand, I am able to carry this camera system with me and get shots I wouldn't have otherwise. I don't regret purchasing this lens. Adorama's service and shipping speed were excellent as well. Thanks!

Good quality lens. Not the fastest, but works as a good all rounder. The ability to have close focus distance is a nice bonus to have.

Well, this is a very nice lens! Nice and small, looks nice. More importantly, it takes very good macro photos! You can get very close, as a macro lens should let you. Affordable, with high IQ. Hard to knock this lens!

Nice sharp pictures, reasonably fast, good look. It isn't telephoto though so requires getting pretty close to smaller subjects. Good for close up portraiture too. Very pleased for the price.

By chance, got this lens just before my grandmother passed away, and my father and I used it to replicate a lot of old photos cemented in a very old album. It worked very well for that. In more general use, I'd say picture quality is a little better than the Sigma 30/2.8; the main lack I feel is compared to the Panasonic 20/1.7, which has richer color and better contrast.

Sharp, flat-field macro lens. I use it heavily with a slide duplication attachment to "scan" slides. This is much faster than using a dedicated slide scanner, and produces very good results. This lens also works well as a reasonably fast, first-rate long "normal" lens for walkabout. Well put together, metal lens mount, etc.
