WARREN L : Is this a new, used, or refurbished item?MARK M : New, and a great buy.
Shopper : It sounds like this camera takes multiple photos very quickly. Is that true? Are they quality images?ELLIOT C : Yes!!!! Works flawlessly. Read the manual, there are lots of answers to your questions.ROBERT L : Yes it can. You have choice of 20fps, 6fps, 3.7fps, and 2fps. I use it all the time at my kids sporting events. I've been very pleased with the action shots I have captured with it.MICHAEL L : Well, it shoots up to 6 frames per second, if that's what you mean. Whether or not the images are of good quality is substantially up to the person pressing the shutter button.HOWARD G : Yes to both questions. I frequently take photos using the HDR technique. This requires me to take three photos as fast as possible using different aperture settings. If the camera was slow, this could not be done. Hope that this is helpful to you.WOODROW S : This camera does take multiple photos very quickly. The images are very high quality. I purchased a Panasonic lens F1.7 as my alternate lens to the zoom lens provided with the camera. This lens takes outstanding pictures.
Bob R : How to you create Custom Menus on the G5? What is the best use of the C1, C2 and sub custom menu options? ThanksLAWRENCE L : You can download the manual for free from the Panasonic WEb site.LAWRENCE L : You can download the manual for free from the Panasonic WEb site.MEL S : Best place for info is web site small cameral big picture or discover mirrorless also check youtube for setting up the G5 like a boss this is where you will find how to use C1 C2 and the like. The basic is set your camera how you want to shoot then save in one of the custom settings. If after sometime you don't like what you have set then reset your controls and write over one of the c1 or c2 settings. Remember there are 3 settings in c2 ie: c2-1, c2-2, and c2-3. Hope this helps.

When used with the LUMIX G5, the full line of high-grade lens combines with its precision AF (Auto Focus) to achieve high resolutions, with an optimal balance of resolution and noise reduction to produce lifelike image rendering and high precision auto exposure and white balance for faithful color reproduction. A redesigned Venus Engine features exceptionally advanced signal processing capabilities, producing clear, crisp images in both photo and video recording.

The 3DNR detects smooth areas or edges in photos and adjusts the strength of noise reduction (stronger for smooth portion, milder for edge portion) to maintain object descriptiveness. The Multi-process NR quickly detects brightness in each part of a picture and applies optimal noise reduction in multiple steps. The newly incorporated HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows for several pictures consecutively shot at different exposure levels to be overlaid, producing a single composite picture to eliminate over-exposure or under-exposure.
