Exceedingly user-friendly. My 9 year old received it for the holidays and was immediately taking really good pictures, working through the settings, and so excited. Can't wait for summer to get some underwater pictures.

The buttons are small. The menu system is not quite intuitive. The results are outstanding. I stopped trying to turn it off as the shutter button and power button are very close to each other. The screen is small so the battery was sufficient to allow more screen on time. I did not try it in underwater conditions ? yet.

I got one of these in 2015 and lost it to the French Broad. That’s a river, folks. The water was only 5 feet deep, but fast and muddy and I never saw that great little camera again. Too bad too, because I had GREAT pictures of the beautiful flora & swimsuit-clad, beer-guzzling fauna from more than 1 tubing excursion on that SD card. Prior to the French Broad, that TS30 stood up to at least 3 dunkings on other tubing trips and still took really good photographs. I’ve missed that little camera ever since and finally decided to get another waterproof point-and-shoot. The fact that these little gems are still holding their own after 4 years is telling: they’re great. If you don’t care about having 17peta-pixel resolution for your pix, this camera is a fantastic deal.

Don’t expect too much out of this camera picture quality wise - but it’s durable and waterproof which is the whole point. It’s a great starter camera for a kid who won’t be kind on it, or for someone who needs an inexpensive underwater camera.

I liked this enough that I bought a second one, but as I kept using them I kept finding that even while holding my hand very still, many if not most shots are blurry. I don't shake much if at all! So I went to online user guide but not finding any way to make sure image stabilization is on. There is an icon with a hand with paragraph-like lines on either side of it--is that saying that stabilization is ON? Or is that something else. Wish I could be sure it is on or turn it on if it is not, also just wish it worked better like other cameras I have.

yesterday was the first day I got it wet since I got it this April for my birthday. I really like it so much it really work in water. I have never had a waterproof camera before till I got one for my birthday this year.

The TS30 works well so far although we haven't taken it on our cruise as of yet...the real test! Photos uploaded easily to our computer the first time we tried which is important for seniors that are not really "tech-savey". So far though, I would recommend.

This is a great point and shoot camera to take on your vacation. I would have preferred a larger zoom but this is adequate for most pictures.

I was looking for a point-n-shoot waterproof camera and I found this Panasonic one. It takes good pictures and very small to fit in my fishing vest. Overall it is a good buy.

For taking normal shots its never let me down. However I just tried it while snorkeling in Aruba and the results were actually horrible. I set the camera to the proper settings and the pictures came out really bad. I'll continue to use it but was disappointed with the underwater shots.

Bought this as a gift for a granddaughter entering her senior year in high school. The 'waterproof' feature was the main selling point, but the pictures she has been able to capture are remarkably good. And she actually appears eager to learn about taking pictures and is practicing. Wow.

Nothing special, but seems to be ok. But, I didn't expect super as I did not pay for super performance. The big plus was how Adorama handled an issue with the first TS30 I bought on line, as I got a camera who's light meter was a bit off. They did great and I got another TS30 quickly, didn't have to pay for shipping and they were helpful.

The item arrived as described and in perfect condition. I have been using a SLR's and now DSLR's for years This is my first point and shoot camera.. I wanted something I could carry in my pocket easily and ready to use quickly. My daughter-in-law's father suggested this camera as a fine, tough, and good quality camera for a very modest price. After a couple of weeks playing with the DMC-TS30, I agree in his assessment. I have not attempted to use it under water, but that was not my intent or prime motive. I won't be afraid to use it in inclement weather and believe it is likely good for under water use if the user fully follows the instructions to maintain the seals integrity.

This is very universal and easy to handle camera. I have owned one for the past 3-4 years and traveled everywhere with it: from snorkling/diving on Carribean coral reef to ski trips in subzero temperatures. I love underwater and snow modes - it eliminates blue lighting and colors come great. I have dropped the camera a few times but it survived all impacts. Due to its small size, waterproof and resilience it has become my favorite camera. I've just bought another one for my son.

Replacing a well used Casio EX-V8. Looking for a compact point and shoot camera with zoom capability without the lens protruding. This one fits the bill although the zoom capability is less than the Casio, but the lens does not come out to take the picture. Altogether a very neat camera for the price.
