Great little camera! The GPS is fast and photos are very decent for the camera range. This is my second Panasonic TS camera and the previous one has been great for years.

My husband and I are both professional photographers and got this camera for our son for Christmas. It is a great camera for the money. It will be nice for our vacations when we don't want to haul our regular gear. Our son really loves the camo design and has had fun taking photos of the family.

Bought this camera for a hunting trip in the mountains of Wyoming a few weeks ago. It performed flawlessly ... took great pictures and videos in some very harsh conditions (rain & snow), and did not require gentle handling whatsoever. My son was the primary user during our trip; he is a much more experienced and skilled photographer than I am. He had the choice of using our Olympus TG-1 weatherproof camera or this one. He chose the Lumix DMC-TS6 hands down. We were both impressed, and highly recommend it ... especially for the price!

I purchased this to replace an easly damaged Canon S100. The Canon was an impressive camera with GPS (necessary for wildland-travel photography) and outstanding photo quality. However, it was not weather sealed, and came with a fragile leaf-style lens cover. In the end, dust did the camera in. As good as it was, it couldn't stand up to outdoor use This Panasonic is easier to use, takes very good images, is rugged and pocketable. I do not like menu-based functionality at all, but Panasoic's is much easier to use than Canon's I appreciate not having to worry about it continually. I grew up using indestructible Nikon film SLRs, and need something tough. I hope this is it.

This camera is the ideal vacation simple waterproof camera, it worked perfectly for outdoor excursion, the beach, the pool and snorkeling. One thing the description of it is not precise about is that it comes a battery and a baterry charger, not an a/c adapter.

I haven't played with these extensively yet, but we took a group of sixty 6th graders out on an Archaeology trip and they held up great. We were photographing rock art and also using macro for artifacts. We didn't get a chance to use the GPS feature, but that was one of my main reasons for buying these, as we record data for the Bureau of Land Management. They are tough, good picture quality, weather resistant, GPS cameras, and that is what I needed.

This camera is as good as the first. No new surprises. Most of the features I don't/can't use. Bought mainly for underwater use, less than 30 feet. Good colours and the anti-shake really helps. Now to keep the water out of the camera.

Great camera for the price. Not the color I would have chosen but the price was right. I suspect that of all the colors available this particular color was a slow seller, hence the great discount price I couldn't pass up. Looking for a decent, rugged cam for young Granddaughter. Doesn't perform like a DSLR however, it didn't cost $1000.00 plus either. With all the features built in, plus the quality construction it is hard to beat, if at all. This is not a professional camera & doesn't pretend to be however, you get one hellova lot of camera for the price. I was so intrigued with it that I waited a week before giving it to my Granddaughter & I had so much fun it was difficult parting with it. Great Point-And-Shoot camera.

THE CAMERA ARRIVED AND I TRIED TO SET IT UP TO WIFI PHOTOS TO MY MAC. I EVEN GOOGLE IT BUT IT DID NOT WORK. I THEN CALLED PANASONIC. I TALKED TO SEVERAL COMPUTORS FOR OVER 50 MIN. AMD I FINALLY GOT A HUMAN BEING. I THINK? I GAVE HER MY SERIAL NUMBER AND SHE SAID IT WAS OVER A YEAR OLD AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR HELP.THEREFORE NO HELP. ADORAMA SAID THAT WAS NOT TRUE. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH PANASONIC AGAIN!! I WOUL;D BUT ANU OF THEIR ELECTRONICS

These cameras spend a lot of time on construction sites and taking serious falls. We have order over a dozen and although they may not look so great any more they still work great!!

I had the TS5. TS6 looked identical - except for a couple of baby picture settings (why - on a drop / freeze / waterproof camera?). Emailed - uses the same battery, etc. I had extra batteries from the TS5 so I bought it. Out of the box it looked 99%+ the same. But it felt a hair lighter and just a bit flimsier. I looked closer. The only real visible difference is my TS5 was made in Japan, and the TS6 is made in China. Not happy. Seems to work OK so far. Buyer beware.

I like its small and light size. Fits in pocket while on vacation for quick photo or video. Under water shooting is great for snorkelers. Quality of stills and video are excellent. Built in GPS is useful for tagging vacation photo spots. Wifi allows sharing while on travel. Has all the features one would want. Highly recommend this little camera.

Great camera, super durable and waterproof. I had the older version of this camera for 8yrs until I dropped it off a cliff. This model is built even better with more features. Takes great pics even in salt water!

This is a replacement for my DMC-TS2. It has some additional features that I wanted like GPS and WIFI. Picture quality is good and stabilization is excellent. Unless you turn the GPS off, it draws power even if the camera is off. You need to remember to remove the battery when you store the camera. The users manual (digital only, no paper copy) is generally awful. In particular the instructions for the GPS and WIFI are exceptionally difficult to understand.

I bought this camera for kayaking and occasional underwater photograph. Picture quality is good for a point and shoot and my underwater pictures from Mexico have all my friends taking. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Nice little camera and no issues. The picture quality is very decent especially for social media use. Took it underwater and although a couple of pics were not quite in focus, the results that I did get in general were good. All in all happy with the new purchase.

Purchased this camera as an alternative to the highly rated Olympus. I basically took a few pixtures put them up on my computer monitor snd decided this camera was not for me even at its low price. Pictures were jagged, looked oversharpened and colors were not realistic, almost too vibrant. I would not recommend this camera to anyone serious about photography.

Took it on a rafting trip. It lay in the bottom of the raft under water for most of 5 hours . No problem. For some reason more than 10% of the open air pictures came out not in focus, the rest were sharp. Took pictures after dark but the camera relies on a slow shutter speed. You need clear water and some distance between the camera and your subject for underwater pictures, otherwise they won't be in focus.
