I love this camera. I wanted a point and shoot camera that has a viewfinder so as to shoot in bright sunlight (snow skiing) without trying to use the screen which is difficult to see in that environment. Plus, so many extras are included in the camera. It takes great pictures.

It does take nice photos with many choices to get a better photo and/or a better users composition. The biggest problems so far is trying to get the flash to turn on and the shutter button is very finicky about going just half way down. I?ve ended up with many photos I didn?t want because of no real half way point.

I brought this as a travel camera for my 12year old Niece. Within the week she had mastered the camera and could use it in manual. Image stabilization allowed her to get good images even at 30x zoom. The 4k videos were good as well. The camera lives up to review based expectations. I am very happy with the purchase.

Decent camera for point & shoot. Manual focus option is a big plus as AF on any point & shoot can be hit or miss. Images are fair to very good depending on conditions.

I love this camera! Last year I had a ZS80 which I loved as well, but I wore out the zoom lever by extended daily usage zooming in and out on birds. I decided to replace it with the ZS70, the only difference being some VF characteristics. Frankly, I really don't notice much of a difference in VF's between the two, so going with the ZS70 saved me almost $100. The ZS70 takes excellent photos for a small point and shoot. The camera feels sturdy and of good quality. The 30x zoom is fantastic. The camera is easy to operate, and the touch screen makes it even simpler. The accessory package was nice, although the camera case included was not overly useful for me. Overall, this is an excellent little point and shoot camera with fantastic zoom power and decent quality. It is my go-to camera now for almost everything. I would highly recommend it.

Good travel camera. I purchased for my hunting pack due to its small size and the ability to shoot RAW. The camera is good but not great. But it is $350, so you can't expect a dslr.

I bought this for my wife, who loves it. She finds it easy to use and loves the excellent wide angle to super telephoto zoom range. I often have a hard time distinguishing her images from this camera from my D500 DSLR images.

This is a wonderful little, yet feature packed camera. It has so many features - I probably won't use any of them. Takes high quality photos and is nicely designed. Previously, I had a Lumix zs50. I am having a problem with the battery bracket (the underside of the cameras) as it became disconnected from the unit and not able to be reattached. Adorama is working with me, I hope, to get the unit swapped.

We are so excited to receive our new camera. It is small in size, but large in picture quality.

Actually quite impressed for such a little camera. Has many good features, as well as the ability to manually adjust the settings. Decent price.

Just took this camera to Hawaii. I loved my ZS40 but this one is way better! I am committed to learning more of its bells and whistles. Some of them my ZS40 had but I never learned. Some are new and so cool. I got a million whale photos. I save this for the telephoto shots. Otherwise my phone is as good. But it excels on telephoto. So glad I jumped!

I am a home inspector and looked at using this camera due to its zoom capabilities and high quality images. Had it for a day when I was using a retractable pole and the lens in its extended form had the telescopic lens partially pop out of place when bringing the pole back down. Tried to send the camera in for repairs but the repair center claimed this quick fix was not covered by the warranty. Considering this camera is advertised as a camera to use for vlogging with it's screen flip, I would avoid using this camera when moving as it could lead to a quick trip to the repair shop.

This camera was impressive from the start. It takes beautiful pictures in a variety of settings, and there are features whose features have features. The 4K video is crisp, and the zoom length is very decent. The camera is a little heavy to hold, but that is the only real complaint here.

It takes good pictures, but I find the controls overly complicated with a steep learning curve. I tried to use the phone app but so far it doesn't seem to work. I got it because it was one of the top rated cameras in it's class but I don't think I would particularly recommend it to anyone unless they are willing to put a lot of time into learning the controls.

I was looking for a portable point and shoot camera with a decent optical zoom and macro options. After zeroing in on a particular model, Adorama had it at a good price with many accessories included.

I have had and still do have at least 5 Panasonic cameras. This Panasonic DC ZS70 is the feature upgrade of my DMC -ZS40. Which was an upgrade of my DMC ZS3. Before the pandemic I travelled world wide a fair amount and find the super compact cameras just are my go-to photo and now for sure video cameras. 30X zoom with stabilization is more than enough close up proximity for my travel log. It is a must for me to be able to quickly capture a scene by just using scene modes and quickly review and take pictures using other scene mode and later select best photos .It is a major plus being able to set up a manually apertures and exposure photo capture when just kicking back. The video capture has improved with each Panasonic camera including this one which has 4k 30fps capture. I am not sue what I am missing that another super compact camera offers. All I know is that I am very happy with the DC ZS70. The Adorama bundle was a major purchase plus

A very handy camera made only better by the service offered through ADORAMA. The accessories included by this company at no extra charge are useful and round out a very fine product. The sales associate involved was helpful and reassuring . Altogether, the combination of a very good camera and good efficient sales service.

Once I got over the learning curve, I found it to be a great camera. I’m a complete novice so there are many things I don’t understand. The manual wasn’t very clear, but in the end I was able to figure out most of what I needed. It took me about a month to learn these things. In the end, it takes great photos.

This is way more camera than I really need, but I enjoy it nevertheless. It's my 4th or 5th in this line. Because of all the extra features that I won't use, it makes the unit a bit heavy. But it is nice to have that 30 x Zoom! So far, I've noticed a much faster response rate when I turn the camera on and go to take a picture. That's a great feature.

I'm in love with this camera. Good enough to take wonderful shots, especially in zoom. Perfect to slide into your pocket and GO! For someone like me, who usually shoots in auto, but likes to tinker with settings to try and customize some shots, this camera is great. I love taking moon pics, even with using the digital zoom on top of the optical zoom. Landscape pics turn out great. All in all a great little point and shoot, with manual options if you want them.

I bought this camera primarily for its long zoom and ability to shoot in RAW format. I'm a bird watcher and I have a DSLR with a long 200-500mm zoom. But I wanted something I could carry in my pocket when the bigger camera wasn't appropriate. After looking at what other birders used to document their sightings and reading a lot of reviews, the ZS70 looked like a good option. What a disappointment. The viewfinder is not good enough to be able to tell whether something is in focus and you are completely dependent on the autofocus function which is wildly unreliable, picking items at random. Even when I was able to get a bird in focus at full zoom range, the image was barely recognizable. I tried various recording format options but nothing got me to an acceptable image quality. Other issues: The camera fells cheap, and not well-made, in my opinion. The touch screen is a win/lose proposition. It made it easier to manage some settings but it also could be triggered by my cheek or nose while shooting. The camera itself is tiny and all the controls and features correspondingly tiny, so it was hard to manage buttons or know where to put my hands where they didn't get in the way. Trying to think of something positive to say... once, before I managed to get the zoom extended, I took a shot by accident and it was a pretty nice landscape. So, if you don't care about the zoom or detail ... nah, I'd still look for a better camera

I have no idea what any of these other people are reviewing. It can’t possibly the Lumix DC-ZS70. We shot 100 test images with it the first day out of the box. The image quality on this thing is atrocious. (Side by side tested against iPhone XR and Sony A7- obviously the A7 is a far superior camera, but the iPhone XR made the Lumix look like a joke.) The auto-focus was only accurate for 21% of the shots. (And I mean we were shooting at a stationary object in the center of frame and it would auto-focus on top right corner of the frame, grabbing a random spot on a wall 12 feet behind our subject.). And who put the flash DIRECTLY behind your hand?! When using the viewfinder and holding the hand grip, your hand covers the flash completely. It’s useless. Anything less than direct sunlight is considered “low light” with this thing. Horrible performance. Don’t get me started on the touch-screen focal point selection- also completely useless, as when you depress the shutter button, whatever point you’ve just chosen is forgotten and the auto-focus re-selects a seemingly random point in the frame. Needless to say, this is already packed up and awaiting being sent back. Total waste of money.

Power packed little camera, small enough to throw into a carry bag, computer case, or in a belt pouch when you want a camera on the go. Bigger than the ZS40, but more features. I find I don’t use my mirrorless camera as much, my Nikon DSLR only when I am expecting to need more extensive features, but this camera has lots of features and options as well. The zoom lens on this camera is unbelievable, better than any other I have, and I primarily use it for wildlife photos in bright light, and have been very happy with the images. I sometimes use it when I forgot binoculars. Great for biking, hiking, or just when you want to be sure you have a camera with you, which is most of the time.
