A Necessary Convenience

By all means a necessity for travel. Should you spend a day out with the camera and take some video, there is a good chance you will need to pull out a second battery as the GH1 can take a toll when shooting video.

Original part as advertised

This is an original panasonic battery. I wouldn't trust cheaper off-brand replacement batteries. I use this as a back-up battery that I alternate with the original battery for my DMC-G1. The two batteries are identical. No issues.
