Panasonic DMW-BLC12 is an lithium-ion battery for select Panasonic Lumix models. Features 7.2V 1200mAh 8.7Wh.

These are OEM batteries for my Panasonic/Lumix Z1000.  I had three of these batteries and they worked well, lasting eight years through many thousands of pictures.  I use my zoom frequently and that uses some battery power with each zoom in and out.  At a recent business meeting I felt the length of service of the battery was only about four hours, and I thought it had been longer than that on previous occasions.  It was not a problem since I had two replacement batteries fully charged and ready to go.  But that feeling of "Uh oh, they are eight years old" made me think it was time for a replacement.  Thus, I purchased three new OEM batteries.  The original charger that came with the camera still works well in charging the new, as well as the older batteries.  I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs this size of battery.

These batteries are identical replacements to the originals.

The battery is good, lasts enough time for video recording. I usually record 1 - 2 hours of continuous video, and the batter lasts.

Some off-brand batteries I have previously purchased have swelled to the point that I do not wish to take a chance to load in my camera.  I have never had this problem with the proprietary LUMIX brand--your equipment it too expensive to possibly be ruined.

I bought this battery to have an extra in my camera bag for those long photography outings with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000 digital camera I expect to take.  I've used other Lumix batteries with very good success, so I'm expecting the same quality and service as before.

Works As Advertised

The battery is the perfect replacement for the original which came with my LUMIX DMC FZ1000.  I bought the camera one month ago and the battery a couple of weeks ago.  Both were purchased in anticipation of trips to Italy and Canada.  While other, less expensive batteries are available, I do not think they can be better than the original, but could only approximate the original's performance, and because of lower price, they are likely cutting some corners and are perhaps not as good as the original.  This was the driving force behind my purchase of this battery, despite its price.

I am so pleased I choose the original Panasonic DMW-BLC12 Lithium-ion Battery for my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 camera.
There are other brands to choose that cost less..but on review the Panasonic brand battery has the quality and assurance I require.
Of course I now have two Panasonic batteries so that I have back up power..

I hated to pay this much but I have some cheaper batteries that do not display the remaining charge on my camera and I can't be stuck  out shooting and have a battery just decide to go out without warning. So, I pay the price for the better batteries and the life is decent but at least you know you're getting low and need to change or charge.

Pricey but best

Just received this Panasonic DMW-BLC12 battery and it looks identical to the battery that came with my Panasonic FZ1000 camera in every way.  Still have to see how charges hold up compared to the original battery but that will take some time.  That's the reason for the 4 star review for now instead of a 5 star.  So far so good.

Adorama was recommended by a photographer friend who uses your company for her photo supplies and I am pleased to say that my batteries arrived in time for my use. The only thing is that I didn't seem to have an estimate on date of delivery and the UPS tracking did not give a date either. It tracked it up to New Jersey and finally I learned that it had arrived in town. Aside from that I'm satisfied.

Review for Adorama service

This battery lasts for quite a while - at least several hundred shots with occasional reviewing.  But beware, when it says it is low, it means NOW!  A couple shots more and it is done!

I bought these instead of expensive Leica OEM batteries for my Leica Q. They appear to be exactly the same battery for less than half as much money and they work just fine.

Nice battery

I purchased this battery as a backup battery for traveling. On days I take lots of pics, the camera battery can run down and I like to have a spare backup. This battery performed equal to my original camera battery.

Rather than buy a generic battery, I waited until this model was available; and, it has performed as expected. Reports about the offlabel (generics) have been poor. Although many online stores no longer had this is stock, Adorama responded promptly.
