Great option for the tiny Panasonic cameras
Adds a much needed grip to the Panasonic GM1 and GM5 and does not increase the overall size much at all. Makes the camera much easier to handle with confidence. Fit and finish is solid and retains a lightweight characteristic. Battery/SD card door cannot be accessed with the grip installed.
The Panasonic DMW-HGR1-K black Hand Grip provides enhanced stability and a comfortable hold when shooting with the GM Mirrorless Digital Camera. It attaches with an integrated thumb screw into the camera's tripod socket and features an approximately 1.7" textured aluminum post that rests against the right-hand side of the camera's face. The base of the grip runs along the bottom plate of the camera providing not only the leverage to use the grip but a degree of protection for the camera. The increased height the grip provides is useful when using larger lenses, allowing the camera to sit flat on a table.
